LG 32 inch television== Recently bought this television to replace an older CRT version. lg 32 inch Television I recently bought this Television to replace an older Clear Resolution Technology product. I connected my outdoor antenna, with just standard coax cable, and had fantastic, perfect reception, Dolby Stereo.

Connect the DVI output of the digital set-top box to the H D M I / D V I I N or H D M I / D V I I N 1 / 2 / 3 jack on the TV. Connect the PC audio output to the A U D I O I N ( R G B / D V I) or A U D I O ( R G B / D V I) jack on the TV.
Turn on the digital set-top box. (Refer to the owners manual for the digital set-top box.) I Select the H D M I or HDMI1/2/3 input source on the TV using the I N P U T button on the remote control.
A DVI to HDMI cable or adapter is required for this connection. DVI doesn't support audio, so a separate audio connection is necessary.

Connect the video outputs (Y, PB, PR) of the DVD to the C O M P O N E N T I N V I D E O or C O M P O N E N T I N V I D E O 1 jacks on the TV. Match the jack colors (Y = green, PB = blue, and PR = red). Connect the audio outputs of the DVD to the C O M P O N E N T I N A U D I O or C O M P O N E N T I N A U D I O 1 jacks on the TV.
Turn on the DVD player, insert a DVD. Select the C o m p o n e n t or C o m p o n e n t 1 input source on the TV using the I N P U T button on the remote control. If connected to C O M P O N E N T I N 2 input, select the C o m p o n e n t 2 input source on the TV. Refer to the DVD player's manual for operating instructions.

Caption must be provided to help people with hearing loss watch TV. Select a caption mode for displaying captioning information if provided on a program. Caption/Text, if provided by the broadcaster, would be available for both digital and analog channels on the Antenna/Cable. This TV is programmed to memorize the caption/text mode which was last set when you turned the power off. This function is only available when C a p t i o n Mode is set O n.

Keep in mind that the movie ratings limit only applies to movies shown on TV, not TV programs, such as soap operas.

Cleaning the Screen

Heres a great way to keep the dust off your screen for a while. Wet a soft cloth in a mixture of lukewarm water and a little fabric softener or dish washing detergent. Wring the cloth until its almost dry, and then use it to wipe the screen. Make sure the excess water is off the screen, and then let it air-dry before you turn on your TV.

Cleaning the Cabinet

The RS-232C port allows you connect the RS-232C input jack to an external control device (such as a computer or an A/V control system) to control the TVs functions externally. I Note: RS-232C on this unit is intended to be used with third party RS-232C control hardware and software. The instructions below are provided to help with programming software or to test functionality using telenet software.
