This LG 26LC2R is a great 26" TV, with good picture, good sound, HD-ready and a very reasonable price tag.

Good value but... Buyers should be aware that this LCD TV does not come with a Freeview tuner. Capitalism is NOT sustainable Unvelievable!!! NO STARS. This monster does not have an OFF switch! How can such an item be allowed to be produced? Best buy - an outstanding TV for the price!!!! Took delivery of this set 2 weeks ago, brilliant TV for the money, for a 26" LCD widescreen TV.

Not too impressed with this Like other correspondents, the "flesh creep" on slow moving images is really annoying.

This TV is good spec for the price. I bought for the following features: PC input so can be used as a PC monitor; picture in picture; HD ready.

Very good set. You can get a great Samsung set with HD Tuner for this cost. It also has 5000:1 contrast ratio vs 1200:1. Nothing comes to mind.

Cleaning the Screen

Heres a great way to keep the dust off your screen for a while. Wet a soft cloth in a mixture of lukewarm water and a little fabric softener or dish washing detergent. Wring the cloth until its almost dry, and then use it to wipe the screen. Make sure the excess water is off the screen, and then let it air-dry before you turn on your TV.

Cleaning the Cabinet

To remove dirt or dust, wipe the cabinet with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Please be sure not to use a wet cloth.

Extended Absence

CAUTION
If you expect to leave your TV dormant for a long time (such as a vacation), its a good idea to unplug the power cord to protect against possible damage from lightning or power surges.
