Less creasing: The bigger drums in LG Direct Drive washing machines help to prevent creases and damage caused by excessive rubbing in machines with smaller drums. More washing: Our bigger drums will allow you to do more washing in one load, so saving time, energy and water. Convenience: Having a bigger capacity means you can now save time and money by washing bulky items like curtains, duvets or even quilts. Space efficient: LG washing machines are bigger on the inside but not the outside. LG Steam or non Steam Direct Drive washing machines are the same size as standard machines but have a bigger drum.

SHOWER SPRAY

The Shower Spray is a circulating shower function that repeatedly pumps water from the bottom of the drum to the top where it is sprayed into the drum during the washing and rinsing process. The Shower Spray ensures detergent is completely dissolved, improving wash performance. It significantly reduces water consumption which means less electricity is needed to heat up the water. It reduces running costs, saving on energy and water bills.
NEW DRUM AND WAVED LIFTER DESIGN
Avoid wasteful energy consumption. The drum on LG washing machines has been designed with a surface texture that increases the amount of contact with the fabrics in your wash. This creates a better washing action to remove more dirt and stains. The drum perforations also help to increase the speed of water circulation for more cleaning power and to stop clothes from sticking and creasing at the end of the wash cycle. During a wash cycle, the Waved Lifter feature moves the clothes from the bottom to the top of the drum. With steam, less energy is needed because a smaller amount of water is used. The dual spray system releases simultaneously steam and water into the drum improving heating efficiency and time. BABY CARE

Babies need to be protected from harmful bacteria and allergens whilst baby skin is sensitive and easily irritated by detergent. So any baby wash needs to be gentle and effective. Baby clothes also get washed often and are easily damaged. The LG Baby Care programme destroys and removes allergens and clears all traces of Detergent. It performs a Medic Rinse Warm Rinse (40 C), Rinse More (5 times) and High water level rinse.

RINSE HOLD

Once the rinse is complete this function adds another rinse. It does not drain the drum but waits for the user to initiate the spin cycle.

REFRESH

This programme uses a fine steam spray to penetrate fibres, remove creases and eliminate odours. It also works to soften fabrics. It is fast, effective and eco-friendly.

BOILING CARE

With its large glass porthole door, the stylish design of the LG Dryer perfectly compliments the LG Direct Drive washing machine. LG Dryers are designed to dry up to 8kg or 9kg of washing, depending on the model you have chosen and the washing machine you have, allowing you to swap your load from washer to dryer with the minimum of fuss, drying a full load in less time than conventional dryers. The larger drum is great for drying bulky items such as curtains, blankets or down jackets whilst the increased space inside the LG Dryer means clothes get less tangled and creased, saving hours of ironing.

HE HEAT SENSOR

Unlike most dryers where heaters constantly switch on and off, LGs unique, High Efficient (HE) Heating Sensor allows the LG Dryer to maintain a constant temperature inside the drum which cuts down the energy needed to complete the drying process.

The LG Dryer uses Sensor Dry technology, operating in 3 different modes designed specifically for Cotton, Mixed Fabrics and items that need Special Care. Within each of these categories is an array programmes and options that can be used in lots of different combinations to dry even the most difficult items. If none of the preset programmes seems to fit the bill, simply select the more traditional Cool Air or Warm, or be creative and design your own drying programme, saving it as a Favorite.
