| Samsung External DVD Writer I was disappointed with the quality of this DVD Writer and although it was cheap in price did not come up to expectation. Value for Money. Bought for a Sony Vaio Netbook. Did not install software that came with it. Just plugged in and worked straight away. Easy to use. Quality product The product arrived and is a nice slim shiny little unit. Very light weight. Just plugged it in. | |

LG Air Conditioners
Comfort & Convenience
Welcome to LG Air Conditioning Division
LG Electronics No.1 for 3 Years
According to Fuji-Keizai, one of the top market research companies in Japan, LG Electronics(LGE), the world No. 1 air conditioner maker since 2000 in terms of number of air conditioner sales based in Chang-Won Korea, is expected to defend its position this year, selling 6.7 million units.
The World Best Seller
LG air conditioners: recognized as the best across the world. JARN (Japan Air Conditioning, heating & Refrigeration News), a respected Japanese air conditioning journal, which is published in English, recently featured an article entitled 'LG Electronic No. 1 for 3 years' in its November 2002 issue, and anticipates that LG will also become the world's biggest air conditioner manufacturer by 2003, with a production capacity of 7.3 million sets. LG air conditioners were also declared to be the best by journals such as 'Consumer Report' in the United States, 'CHOICE' in Australia and 'Financial Russia' in Russia. However, not wishing to become complacent about such praise, LG of course continues its policy of ongoing research and design, strict quality control and innovative marketing activities with its focus, as always, on customers satisfaction.
Our impressive service strategy: providing better quality for you. With the 6 movement launched in 1996 to achieve a Zero defect rate by means of qualitative reforms, we have experienced rapid growth in production, sales and services. To manufacture and supply our products at higher speed and with maximum competitiveness, we are equipped with a QA system that meets the characteristics of each individual model, and have employed a digital product system enabling shorter production lines, modular products, automation of production processes, and linking between overseas plants, customers and co-operating companies on-line. With our localization strategy for Europe, North America and Asia, we offer a sustainable and swift supply of goods and services to satisfy our customers needs.

Great Company Great People
LG Air Conditioners World-winning Technology. LG offers a more advantageous business environment for its customers with its range of air conditioner features. Its PLASMA Air Purifying System, first developed and marketed in 1999, has proved its effectiveness, and LG has since in 2000 developed the world's first semi-permanent PLASMA Heat Exchanger, enhancing the functionality of the core component. In 2001 the company introduced state-of-the-art digital telephone remote control technology, and developed the Tele-control air conditioner, which is activated or stopped remotely via an ordinary telephone. To maintain its product leadership in the market, LG Air conditioners places a lot of emphasis on improvements such as reduced energy consumption, high efficiency, low noise compressors, ventilation systems and compact product dimensions, etc.

Environment Friendly
The environment of the future at LG Air conditioners
Keeping pace with developments in global environment policies, the company has developed a new refrigerant to replace Freon gas (R22), ahead of it being banned due to its environmentally - damaging greenhouse effects. On completion of market tests in 1999, the company launched its wall and window mounted product ranges in 2000. With a ceiling-type duct to be supplied from 2001, the company is positioned to cover all air conditioner market sectors. This is our environment-friendly policy protecting the environment for the future.

This can be easily installed in a small space, and has exceptional cooling capacity. Designed for low-noise operation, it ensures a pleasant air conditioned environment. It also features Jet Cool for high level cooling and clean air supply through its Plasma air purifying system.
Dual PLASMA Air Purifying System
The PLASMA Air Purifying System developed uniquely by LG not only removes microscopic contaminants and dust, but
Photo-Catalyst Coated Mesh Plasma ionizer Rating Voltage=4.8kV
also removes house mites, pollen, and pet fur to help prevent allergic diseases like asthma. With a filter that can be used over and over again by simply washing with water, you can enjoy clean fresh air without having to worry about changing the filter every two years as in the past and save costs. RESET BUTTON Used prior to resetting time or after replacing batteries. 2nd F Button Used prior to using modes printed in blue at the bottom of buttons.
Jet Cool
Jet cool function is for quick cooling. In this mode, strong and cool air is blown at high speeds for 30 minutes until the room temperature reaches to 18 C.
Healthy Dehumidification
With the use of a newly designed compressor, humidity is eliminated to create a comfortable atmosphere without overcooling the room.
Indoor Temperature Distribution Chart
4 Way Auto Swing
Hot or cold air can be evenly distributed in a room as the auto swing function blows air in 4 directions.
Conventional Since the surrounding temperature is sensed after the air from the unit is widely distributed, an accurate temperature reading of the air is not possible.
Healthy Dehumidification By increasing the Vane Angle, a better assessment of the actual temperature is possible to prevent over cooling.

Natural breeze by CHAOS Swing
The most pleasant air flow for the human body can be found within nature. Countless data and verification resulted in the application of the new CHAOS theory to LG Air conditioners. The new CHAOS theory is a technology that revives more natural air by controlling the angle and speed of the movement of the vane. Compared with the frequency, the CHAOS air flow proved to be very similar to natural air flow. The CHAOS swing also makes the room more evenly cooled to stimulate a more natural environment which is most comfortable for the human body.
Low Noise Air Flow System
To provide a comfortable, pleasant, and well balanced environment, LG air conditioners utilize a streamlined air fan and a unique design which create smooth air flow from the air conditioner so that it operates under the lowest noise level. The cross flow fan, stabilizer, and rear guide which are the causes of noise, have been redesigned by hydraulic engineering. The number of revolutions has been decreased while increasing the amount of wind. With the best structure for the air path, the amount of friction has been decreased providing the most quiet air conditioners in the world.
