Why do I need an LG Inverter Air Conditioning System?

Whats an Inverter?

Conventional air conditioners use a constant speed compressor that is either on at full speed or completely off at 0 speed. It must constantly turn itself on and off in order to maintain the desired temperature. Inverter air conditioners on the other hand, use a variable speed compressor that can vary its operational speed to adjust the level of cooling or heating in order to optimally maintain the desired temperature.

Energy Saving

During a conventional air conditioning cycle, the compressor must constantly turn on and off in order to maintain the desired temperature setting. A large amount of power is used during the restart resulting in unnecessary energy consumption. Inverter air conditioners on the other hand use a variable speed compressor that can control its operational speed to improve the controlled level of cooling or heating. Once the desired temperature is attained, LG inverter air conditioners will operate the compressor at low speed, resulting in improved energy savings as opposed to constantly turning the compressor on and off.

1. Cooling Capacities are based on an indoor air temp 27C DB 19C WB and outdoor air temp. 35C DB and 24C WB in accordance with AS3823.1.2. 2. Heating capacities are based on indoor air temp. 20C DB and outdoor air temp. 7C DB 6C WB in accordance with AS3823.1.2. 3. Maximum operating range Heating of Inverter: outdoor temp -10C to 16C WB. Cooling: outdoor temp. 21C DB to 43C DB. Capacities at varying temperatures are available upon request. Please contact your local LG office. 4. All capacities are net and include 7.5m of inter-connecting pipe. 5. Sound levels are measured in an anechoic room at 1m for outdoor. For indoor measurement, sound level measure must be executed in distance of 1m away and 0.8m height from the indoor unit for wall mounted split and window, whereas 1.5m away for cassette and convertible unit from the indoor unit.
