LG VX6000 Cell Battery This is a great battery at a great price from a great seller.

I got this phone with Page Plus cellular service and I had it about half a year and the service sucked seriously. bad phone! drops calls, short battery life, poor camera quality, menu buttons too small and located poorly. Sound quality garbled at times.

Overall, I could take this phone or leave it. I like to color display and look of the phone. As far as functionality goes, it is a little weak.

i love this phone. it was verizons first camera phone. i have had 2 newer phones since this originally came out and this one is still better.

I wish they still had this sweet thing. I miss it (even though the Web/email/Get-it-now features scared me (they still do)). i love this phone. it was verizons first came...  whats not to like? uhm?? it doesnt dispense beer? i love this phone. it was verizons first camera phone. i have had 2 newer phones since this originally came out and this one is still better.

Installing LG VX6000 Video Card

The following guide is to replace the video card of the LGVX6000. Please note, that to replace the video card, you will need to replace the whole logic board.

Step 1 - repair Battery
Push the dark gray tab towards the top of the phone to release the battery. The tab is located on the back of the phone.

Step 2

Remove battery pack. You will need to unhook the bottom of the battery pack from the slot.

Step 3 - repair Body

Set the battery aside.

Step 4
Pull the two rubber cushions out using tweezers. Only remove the two cushions that are circled! The cushion closest to the antenna (not circled) should NOT be removed.

Step 5

Unscrew the six screws seen on the back using a Phillips 00 Screwdriver. Remove screws carefully on an uncluttered surface. They are very small, and could get lost.

Step 6

Remove the back of the phone using your hands. There is a pair of red and blue wires that plugs into the logic board. These wires will snap if you force the pieces apart. Remove the back of the phone very gently. Use your fingernail or tweezers to unplug the wires. To reattach the back, you must plug these wires back in.

Step 7 - Logic Board
Remove the metallic sticky tab on the top by peeling it off the metallic strip underneath.

Pry and lift off the circuit connector, which is connected to the screen.

Step 9
Lift the green logic board up from the rest of the phone by pushing a corner away from the casing. If needed, replace logic board with a new one by reversing the steps.

Step 10 - Video Card

The video card is located on the logic board.
To replace the video card, you will need to replace the logic board.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

The following guide is to remove or replace the screen of the LGVX6000. If you need help replacing the screen, read the following guide.

Step 1 - repair Battery

Step 10 - Screen

Use a paper clip or tweezers to press the plastic tab in the top left corner of the phone's bottom casing to pop the screen out. Be careful not to loose the tab that pops out.
The tab is fragile and can break easily, so be careful.

Step 11
Pull the orange strip through the thin opening in the top of the casing to completely separate the top half (screen) of the phone from the bottom half.

Step 12

You now have the top half of phone by itself. Using tweezers, pull the two rubber cushions and the two sticker cushions off.

Step 13
Unscrew the 4 newly exposed screws using the Phillips screwdriver. The screws are small, so be careful not to lose them.

Step 14

Use plastic opening tools to pry open the screen. Open the screen by prying each side a little bit at a time. Rotate from side to side until all the clips pop open and the screen opens up.

Step 15
After you pry open the casing, you will be left with the screen and circuit board in the top face plate. Pull the corner of screen and circuit board out of casing to remove screen from the top face plate.

Step 16

Peel the sticky tape that connects the screen and logic board off. The screen can now come off.
