Stiftung Warentest
Stiftung Warentest (StiWa) is a German consumer organisation and foundation involved in investigating and comparing various suppliers' goods and services in an unbiased way. The organization calls upon eligible test institutes to express their interest in respective testing assignments. The organization is funded mainly by the sale of its publications, particularly the "test" and "Finanztest" magazines. It does not sell advertisements and thus avoids becoming subject to any form of financial influence from suppliers.

Plus X Award

The prerequisites for the award are: The product must be of the absolute highest quality and its design must be cutting-edge with a long life cycle. These preconditions must be met before the jury even considers nominating a product for an award. And: It must present one or more additional compelling features, i.e. befitting innovations these being the Plus X factors of real brand quality. With this concept, the Plus X Award maintains its high standing as a credible seal of quality across all industries.

red dot award

The red dot design award is an internationally recognised competition and is highly respected among experts as a seal of quality for good design. With more than 12,000 submissions from more than 60 countries, the red dot design is one of the greatest accolades of its type worldwide. The competition, which has invited submissions annually in Singapore since 2005, is subdivided into entries in three separately judged disciplines: product design, communication design and design concept. The coveted trophy is the red dot, the international seal for design quality.

Kitchen Innovation

The annual Kitchen Innovation of the Year (KchenInnovation des Jahres) award aims to promote products with particular benefits to users, thus providing concrete pointers for purchasing decisions. As it is of high topical interest, the award is conferred under the patronage of Ilse Aigner, Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection.
