Video remote control REMOTE CONTROL PRO FOR SONY/CANON 523PRO
The 523PRO remote control works with both Sony and Canon LANC-enabled video cameras. The remote control features a record/stop button, a power on/standby button, three different zoom speed control buttons (slow, medium and fast) and a push auto focus button. The zoom wheel can be used to control one of the three preset, maximum zoom speeds or a customisable maximum speed which you can set to exactly the level you want. For all zoom speeds except the slowest preset speed, you can choose between progressive zoom speed (the further you rotate the zoom wheel, the faster the zoom) or fixed zoom speed (irrespective of the rotation applied to the wheel, zoom speed remains constant) by pressing the button once (progressive) or twice (fixed). The LED shows you which speed you have selected. To set a custom zoom speed, simply hold the zoom speed button until the LED flashes and use the wheel to set your speed. The setting remains in the units memory until you decide to change it. Whether you choose a limited progressive zoom range or a single fixed speed, the features of the 523PRO mean you can easily repeat zooms precisely in subsequent takes of the same shot. The 523PRO also allows you to set left- and right-handed operation by changing zoom wheel direction. The push auto focus button makes it very easy to achieve in focus images when working in manual focus mode. You can also use the manual focus in and out buttons and change the focus direction. 523PRO does not come with any parts to fit to the head, but instead utilizes the pan bar clamp that comes with all Manfrotto heads. The 522 allows you to remotely control the most commonly used functions of your video camera while keeping your hand on the pan bar at all times for greater control over framing and camera movement. The functions depending on camera models and brand (SONY/CANON) can include switching between on and standby mode, starting and stopping recording, zooming in and out (using a professional variable speed zoom wheel for finer control), manual focusing or switching to auto focus, accounting for backlit subjects, fading in or out, record search and taking a still photograph. The 522 also allows you to switch between left right and right left zoom, especially useful for left-handed Videographers. It has an LED power indicator and comes supplied with a 90cm long camera connection cable that plugs into the remote controller (which allows you to change the cable quickly and economically should it become damaged) and video camera LANC socket via a 2.5mm stereo jack. The 522 system is built in on a standard pan bar and comes with all parts necessary for quick and easy fitting (without tools) to any of Manfrottos professional video head. 522 does not come with any parts to fit to the head, but instead utilizes the pan bar clamp that comes with all Manfrotto heads.

The 522P is a dual circuit, progressive zoom remote control unit for the Panasonic AG-DVC-30, AG-DVC80 and AG-DVX100A. Built into a video head pan bar suitable for Manfrotto models 501, 503, 516, 519 and 316. The dual circuit allows you to choose between a zero power consumption analog mode for basic functions (record/stop and progressive min-max zoom via a professional zoom wheel) and a 3 AA (1.5 volt) battery-powered, advanced, customisable digital mode. The digital mode gives you the record/stop function, and the zoom wheel can be used to control one of three preset maximum zoom speeds or a customisable maximum speed which you can set to exactly the level you want. The custom zoom speed setting remains in the units memory even when batteries run down, until you decide to change it. In addition, for all options except the slowest preset speed, you can choose between progressive zoom speed (the further you rotate the zoom wheel, the faster the zoom) and fixed zoom speed (irrespective of the rotation applied to the wheel, zoom speed remains constant) by pressing the button once (progressive) or twice (fixed).
