not a system hog when idle, seems to be able to disable trojans and other active viri as they try to enter the system. i have been using McAfee for years now and i havent had a problem with them that would cause me to switch products. Despite the cons.

Has done the job for 2 years... Good solid firewall etc protection that keeps the spammers / pop-ups / trojans at bay, if not a little too well!
