| Wonderful muli-touch PC An outstanding PC, I have always had an aversion to all-in-one computers, however this has proved that they can work. Wonderful muli-touch PC An outstanding PC, I have always had an aversion to all-in-one computers, however this has proved that they can work. | |

| Overall I am happy with the units speed and looks. Seems like all electronics have taken a step backwards on durability. My kids use this computer a lot. The touchscreen is unbelievable. It worked right out of the box and the wireless keyboard and mouse simply connected. | |

Touch Screen Leadership
Since 2006, NextWindow has been gaining ground in the emerging global market for desktop touch PCs with its optical touch screen technology for monitors 15 inches and larger. Beginning with its initial contract with Hewlett-Packard for the HP TouchSmart line, NextWindow has quickly won customers in major ODMs and OEMs including Dell, Sony, Medion, Lenovo, Samsung and NEC. With offices in Singapore, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, NextWindow has focused on providing top-notch customer support for OEM manufacturing partners in Asia. The companys success has been driven by efficient and low-cost manufacturing processes, superior performance and cost advantages of optical technology on the desktop, as well as ease of integration of its products into displays and monitors. NextWindow has won multiple industry awards for its technology and business growth, including the Deloitte Asia Pacific Technology Fast 500. In fiscal year 2009, NextWindow increased revenues 800% over FY08.
The Market for Touch Screen Computing
Analyst firm DisplaySearch has forecast the touch screen market will grow to $9 billion by 2015, and that multi-touch functionality will be a pivotal market driver. Closely connected to the growth of multi-touch computing is the 2009 release of Windows 7, which allows users to directly manipulate their computer environment through multi-touch gestures for the first time. This fundamental shift in the end-user experience is analogous to the introduction of the mouse decades ago. With Windows 7, leading OEMs have been releasing touch screen laptops, notebooks, and PCs for consumers and business users desiring a more natural interface. Touch makes some tasks easier and more fun to perform on the computer. Analysts predict that Windows 7 will unleash a vibrant market for ISVs to develop touch applications for users in all industries and across all demographics. In June 2009, NextWindow was one of the first touch screen developers to announce logo certification for Windows 7, and has thus become an important contributor to the new market sector for touch-enabled computers. Gaining logo certification gives NextWindow technology a stamp of approval for Microsofts rigorous requirements for compatibility with and reliability on Windows 7.
NextWindow Customers
Independent research firm Gartner expects demand for Touch PCs to surpass six million units in 2010, nearly quadrupling 2008 shipments. NextWindow is proud to have its technology integrated into some of the most innovative new PCs in the marketplace. Here are few of our customers products:
In January 2010, Lenovo launched the L2461 monitor featuring a 23 thin-profile display with NextWindow touch technology. The monitor is Energy Star 5.0 certified with a 2-megapixel camera, a 4-port USB hub, and a 170-degree horizontal viewing angle.
Samsung released the SyncMaster LD220Z monitor with a 22 multi-touch screen from NextWindow, in 2010. The company also unveiled in 2010 two new AiOs with NextWindow touch panels: the Samsung U200 and Samsung U250 20-inches and 23-inches, respectively.
In October 2009, the company released its latest and thirdgeneration line of AiO desktop computers, including a new model for enterprise customers. NextWindow touch screen technology is embedded in all three generations of the HP TouchSmart.
Global computer, electronics and communications giant Asustek released an ultra-slim all-in-one PC, the EeeTop ET2010AGT. The AiO has a 20 multi-touch display using NextWindow screens and showcasing advanced multimedia for home entertainment. Global PC and consumer electronics developer Medion announced plans in October 2009 to offer a multi touch-enabled system with a 24 screen. Branded the Medion X9613, the all-in-one desktop PC became available initially in Germany.
Dell became the second major OEM to release a touch-enabled all-in-one PC, following on the heels of HP, in the spring of 2009. The Dell Studio One 19 features an 18.5 screen incorporating NextWindow touch screen technology. In the fall of 2009, Dell released another touch-enabled product using NextWindow optical touch, the Dell SX2210T, a 21.5 monitor with multi-touch functionality and an integrated Webcam. The multi-touch monitor is an economical way for consumers to bring the touch experience to their desktop without replacing their PC. The Dell Inspiron One 19 is the companys latest all-in-one PC featuring a 19 touch screen from NextWindow.
Entering the touchscreen PC market in 2009, Sony made a splash with its VAIO L Touch HD PC/TV, a multi-media system that gives users access to their PC, HDTV and DVR from one system.
In October 2009, Japanese electronics manufacturer NEC launched the ValueStar W, an AIO computer with a 21.5 touch screen from NextWindow. NECs first multi-touch all-in-one computer, the ValueStar W is currently available in Japan.

Desktop Products
NextWindow 1900 Series
The 1900 integrates easily into OEM LCDs. Manufacturers choose our screens because they provide exceptional clarity, low power consumption (which improves performance for the end-user) and better resistance to environmental conditions. Zero-pressure touch and the absence of special coatings on our screens make them highly durable, responsive and allow users to enjoy vibrant images. The 1900 is also multi-touch ready, permitting functions such as pan, pinch, double-tap and scroll. This product is ideal for screens of 15 inches to 30 inches in size. Kiosks, All-in-One computers and desktop monitors are the products most commonly found with our technology.
Applications for Touch
The Apple iPhone has demonstrated that anything is possible with touch. On the desktop, we anticipate a number of scenarios in which touch screens can enhance common computing tasks and introduce new functionality that is laborious or impossible with the mouse and keyboard:
NextWindow: Technology and Customer Service Leadership
Technology is integral to what we do at NextWindow, and to that end, we are pursuing dozens of patents around the world to expand our touch technology portfolio. Access to the latest technology is critical for our customers, who desire touch screens that deliver superior performance, reliability, flexible, and durability on a variety of display platforms. Customer service is our other differentiator, which explains why some of the worlds largest OEMs are choosing us to develop screens for their PCs. Our experience with mass production and developing customerfocused solutions is helping OEMs be more competitive and innovative deploying the latest computing trends.
Productivity and collaboration
Use touch to organize your desktop by easily moving files, folders, photos and other content graphically to better suit your work style. Resize and zoom in on PDF files, expand and rotate images, graphs and maps during presentations, and write notations with your finger in the margins of documents.
Home entertainment, education, and news
Touch the screen in your kitchen while youre making dinner to quickly display news, videos, weather, family schedules, and play music. Assist your school-age child in a social studies research project in a more entertaining and engaging manner through interactive maps and content or play an educational game with your preschooler.
Art and Design
Create a photo album, design a scrapbook, paint a picture, or even use CAD software more intuitively to develop product designs.
Medical and other specialty industries
Enable a physician or physical therapist to touch a screen during an exam to access a patients x-rays, lab results, share patient information, or demonstrate home treatment plans.
Tourism and hospitality
Walk into a hotel lobby and touch a screen to search for nearby restaurants, shops, businesses, and view local street maps. Use a touch screen at the airport to learn about the city that you are visiting by zooming in on neighborhoods to view top-rated hotels and attractions.
