Cable stress-reliever This protects the cable connectors from being subjectedto excessive strain via the cable, prolonging life.
Optimized air guiding The discharged air is directed downwards. This prevents the operator from getting dust blown into their eyes.
Metabo S-automatic safety clutch This protects the user and machine if the blade is jammed by a foreign body such as a wire. As a result the service life of the machine is considerably increased, while risk of injury to the user is significantly reduced.
Metabo Quick blade change (top class) Via a simple locking screw you can replace the blade with a few twists of the wrist.
Quick stop blade brake (0.05 sec) This kicks in when one of the two hand switches are not depressed. This makes it virtually impossible for you to accidentally reach into the blade while it is running.
Laser cut diamond ground blade For perfect, quick, clean cuts and noticeably longer tool life, even with vigorous continuous use.
The patented Metabo handle system (top & middle class) offers 50% more reach by means of an extra switch on the back handle. You can reach higher without having to abandon the safe two-hand operation.
