he ScanMaker 6400XL and ScanMaker 9600XL bring affordable tabloid-size scanning to corporate users, designers or anyone who needs to get large images into their computer. These color flatbed scanners accommodate A3 or B-size originals, scanning images up to 12 x 17 in full 36-bit color depth (input and output) suitable for the corporate user, designer, architect, engineer or medical practioner. The large scanning beds are also useful for production scanning environments, allowing a batch scan of up to ten 3.5 x 5 photos on the bed at one time. With a transparent media adapter (included with the ScanMaker 9600XL) you can scan film positives, negatives or x-rays.
