| Overall a nice product. Two formats I regularly use on my computer and like to see on the screenplay are MKV and RMVB. I am a mobile DJ and I purchased this because many of my gigs are set in a dark atmosphere. This product works perfectly. I did my research around and until now iomega has this media player that competes with WD player. | |

| The product was advertised with the 8 pack of disks, but there was only 1 disk. I have found Zip/Rev disks to be the most reliable hard disk backup system yet developed. Tapes are slow and unreliable. | |

Room for my favourite dish With the Navitronic controlled combi ovens it is extremely easy to store your favourite recipes under User programmes. You can enter the function, time and temperature settings for up to 30 recipes, and then call them up via the display ensuring that your childrens favourite biscuits, your vegetable lasagne and your best friends cheesecake recipe turn out perfectly every time.
Individual settings Depending on model, settings such as the volume and duration of the audible tone and the brightness and contrast of the display, can be adjusted to suit your preferences. This ensures the oven is set up exactly as you want it. And it is very simple to change your oven back to the default settings should you wish to do so.
Safety features Mieles door lock ensures that the door will remain firmly locked when the microwave function is in use. It can only be opened once the cooking programme has finished or if the programme has stopped. As an added safety feature on the H 4060 BM and the H 4081 BM you can activate a system lock which prevents the controls being used.

Serve your food like a true professional
Many dishes and drinks, which should be served hot, quickly lose their characteristic flavour as they cool. Cold china robs hot food and drink of its original heat with the result that aromas cease to unfold and the flavour is lost. To serve your food like a true professional, the Miele plate warmer will bring your plates, cups, bowls and serving dishes quickly and evenly to the right temperature allowing you plenty of time to socialise with your dinner guests. For true harmony, Miele built in plate warmers are designed for combining with other appliances. All plate warming drawers feature smooth telescopic runners, which open right out to give you a complete view of the interior. They are easy to load and unload and the non slip base ensures that crockery will sit firmly in place. Miele plate warming drawers are available in two sizes EGW 4060-14 can hold up to 20 plates (28 cm diameter) or 80 espresso cups and EGW 4060-29 can hold up to 40 plates (28 cm diameter) or 120 espresso cups. The 14 cm drawer can be combined with a combi oven, CVA 4080/4085 coffee machine or steam oven to fill a 60 high niche in a tall unit (same niche as required for a 60 cm wide single oven). The 29 cm high version complements a 60 cm wide single oven in an 88 cm high niche (this is the same niche as required for a standard double oven). For warming drawers for the CVA 2660, please refer to the Coffee section. The temperature can be freely adjusted between 30C and 80C to give the optimum heat for every type of crockery. When connected to a Miele CVA 4080 or CVA 4085 coffee machine, the plate warmer can be programmed to switch itself on automatically 30 minutes before the coffee machine to ensure your cups are at the perfect temperature for your first cup of the day.

Combisets
One of the most difficult decisions when selecting a cooking surface is which type to choose. Should it be electric or gas? With the Miele Combiset range, you can have it all. The innovative design lets you pick and choose which surfaces to work with. Each unit has an identical width and depth, so they combine easily to form a single, uniform surface. The only limit is your imagination.
Cooking with induction heat Induction heating is a feature which traditionally only professional chefs have taken advantage of. It offers the heat-up and controllability of gas with an easy clean ceramic surface. Deep fat frying Deep fat frying is a popular and easy method of cooking. Miele's deep fryer is designed to integrate perfectly with other combiset appliances. And because the fat is heated to 200C food is sealed quickly and aromas and flavours maintained. Grilling The Miele Combiset grills are perfect for all types of grilling, from classic meat grilling to gentle stir frying. The grill elements on the gourmet grill are situated underneath the ceramic surface to provide optimum heating for a wide range of food. Cooking with gas Gas is the purest form of energy and enables immediate usage of heat as well as precise heat regulation. The gas hob with the dual burner is also suitable for wok cooking. Versatility With combiset elements you can choose from a variety of different hob units, including ceramic and gas hobs, an electric grill, a deep fat fryer and a gas wok hob to create exactly the cooking area to suit you. They can also be combined with the following 4 and 5 zone hobs: KM 417, KM 540, KM 5670, KM 5673, KM 5731, KM 5753, KM 5773.

Dishwashers
Miele dishwashers Miele offers an extensive range of integrated and fully integrated dishwashers with a host of useful programmes and features. They are designed to co-ordinate with other Miele built-in appliances, giving you the reassurance of a perfectly designed kitchen.
Quiet as a whisper Miele dishwashers are amongst the quietest you can find with some operating at a mere 42 decibels dB(A). To truly understand how quiet they are you have to hear one for yourself.
Salt container in the door With the container conveniently located in the door, instead of inside the cabinet beneath the bottom basket, salt is easy to replenish on models with this feature.
Only 10 litres water consumption Clever use of technology enables optimum wash results to be achieved with only 10 litres of water (in the Energy Save programme). Better still: by using as little as 10 litres (a feat that no other dishwashers achieve), we still have three As on the energy label.
Triple filter system A unique triple filter system ensures you get excellent results whilst using water and energy efficiently. The coarse, fine and microfine filters retain any residues to keep the circulating water filtered and clean. The base of the filter is hinged, giving easy access for cleaning, and some models also feature a special LED on the control panel to remind you when to clean the filter.
Sensors Not knowing which programme to use for different types and soiling levels of crockery and glassware has all too frequently resulted in users simply selecting the longest programme with the highest temperature as a last resort often to the detriment of the load being washed. Glass in particular reacts very sensitively to soft water and excessively high temperatures. Miele dishwashers have sensors to help overcome these problems.
Eco Sensor Models with the Sensor wash 55-65 programme feature an Eco Sensor which uses a light beam to measure the murkiness or turbidity of the water, and uses the information to adapt the programme to the degree of soiling by either reducing or increasing the number of water changes. Should you inadvertently select an inappropriate programme for the level of soiling on the dishes, your dishwasher will compensate for this to produce the best possible wash results.
Auto Sensor Models with the Sensor wash and Sensor wash gentle programmes feature an Auto Sensor. This sensor can differentiate between particles and bubbles for even more accurate results. The Auto Sensor can read this information and influence the water consumption, programme duration and temperature, taking out all the guesswork involved for a truly automatic programme.
Unique cutlery tray Clever design makes a unique third wash level possible in Mieles SC model dishwashers. This takes the form of a cutlery tray for which Miele hold the European patent. Because each item sits securely in its own slot, it doesnt touch any other piece of cutlery, and water runs off freely, assuring you of excellent washing and drying results. You can even wash stainless steel and silver cutlery in the same load without damaging your silverware.
The cutlery tray is safer, too. Sharp knives and utensils can be placed in the tray with no dangerous edges exposed. And because you dont need to touch knife blades or fork and spoon heads, germs dont pass from your hands to clean cutlery, so loading and unloading is much more hygienic than with a basket.
Two in one: the divided cutlery tray The original just got better! Some dishwashers feature the divided cutlery tray. Each part of the cutlery tray (which is divided 1/3 and 2/3) is individually removable. So when you need to, you can remove a section and place long stemmed glasses in the upper basket, leaning them safely against the glass supports on the left hand side. Then the rest of the cutlery tray can be filled as normal.
Adjustable upper basket Models with the cutlery tray also offer the benefit of a height adjustable upper basket with a hinged cup rack. Simply grasp the handles on either side, and the basket can be raised or lowered or even set on a slant to suit the height of the dishes you want to load.
The GlassCare system To protect your glassware, the Miele GlassCare system includes a unique sensor controlled water softener, which electronically controls the hardness level of the water entering the cabinet at wash temperatures of up to 55C. In addition, the new baskets offer a variety of secure positions in which to place the glasses.
Care LED Some models have a Care LED on the control panel, which will light up if the main wash temperature of the programme selected is less than 55. If you are not sure whether the programme selected is suitable for glassware, you can simply rely on this LED to let you know you have selected the right programme. On models with the PLUS-display, the GlassCare symbol is shown in the display.

Miele dishwashers offer a range of different control options so you can find the one to suit your lifestyle and design requirements. They all feature Novotronic controls, which were developed and made in our own factories. Because they are fully electronic, there is less wear and tear to the control system. They also offer a wide range of intelligent programmes including special
PerfectFresh
The PerfectFresh zone has a dry and a humidity controlled compartment and is particularly suitable for long term storage of fresh food. Because the temperature is electronically maintained at just above freezing point, fruit, vegetables, fish, meat and poultry can be stored for twice as long as in the refrigerator and still maintain their freshness. Tests have shown that vitamin C levels in food stored in the PerfectFresh zone hardly change over a period of time, so its health benefits are great too. The dry compartment is excellent for storing meat, fish, poultry and dairy products. And with relative humidity levels adjustable between 45% and 90% in the humidity controlled compartment, you can adjust the climate inside the compartment to suit the type of food you are storing. It is particularly suitable for storing fruit and vegetables as well as salad items which have a high water content and need to be kept moist.

* Storage times are guidelines only and depend on the quality and freshness of the food. N.B. Some fruit and vegetables give off gases which cause them to deteriorate rapidly. These include bananas, avocado pears, pineapple, mangos, olives, papaya, passionfruit and citrus fruit as well as aubergines, cucumbers, green beans, potatoes, melons, peppers, tomatoes and courgettes.
Frost-free
No more defrosting! Frost-free is a perfect system for optimum convenience and removes the tedious task of emptying and repacking the freezer. It results in zero build-up of frost on both food and the evaporator, saving time and electricity. How it works In appliances which feature the frost-free system, cool air is circulated by a fan, enabling the food to freeze more quickly and thoroughly. Moisture in the air condenses and freezes on the evaporator, where it melts automatically and drains through a channel into a condensate tray. The heat from the compressor then causes the water to evaporate. Enclosed evaporator Selected frost-free models also feature an enclosed evaporator. The evaporator, instead of being located at the back of the appliance fits into the front casing. The cabinet interior is surrounded on all sides by concealed aluminium evaporator tubing, which leaves the surface smooth on all sides and exceptionally easy to clean. The positioning of the evaporator offers more flexible storage options, as the glass shelves can be removed easily allowing the drawers to accommodate much larger items.
