Miele dishwashers offer a range of different control options so you can find the one to suit your lifestyle and design requirements. They all feature Novotronic controls, which were developed and made in our own factories. Because they are fully electronic, there is less wear and tear to the control system. They also offer a wide range of intelligent programmes including special
programmes with user friendly names to make the chore of choosing the right programme a thing of the past. The appliances also use intelligent technology to adapt to circumstances and make the most economical use of electricity, water and salt.
The traditional range of dishwashers offers a simple, easy to use, rotary programme selector together with pushbutton controls for On/Off and Start. They also have
programme sequence indicator lights to let you know how the programme is progressing and check lights to remind you when to replenish the salt and rinse aid.
With the new dishwashers, the controls and display elements are positioned in the centre of the fascia panel for easy and logical programme selection. The controls on some models are set at an ergonomic angle making them extremely easy to read and use from a standing position.
These dishwashers offer a range of control types from simple selector button controls to rotary and selector button controls to models with selector buttons and a time left display. Going up the range, greater functionality is introduced, including a delay start function and a tab button to optimise the programme to the type of detergent being used.
Topping the range is a model with the large Navitronic Plus display and user friendly touch sensor controls. The display is in clear text and intuitively guides you through the programme selection process. The controls are easy to operate at a mere touch and being flush, are easy to keep clean. Wider ranging programme choice is also introduced including special programmes, many of which are named to suit the type
of load they are designed for such as plastics and pasta. Programme parameters can be tailored to include features such as a pre-wash or a soak, and you can even programme the display to list your favourites first. These models also introduce an Info button which will give you tips and guidance on what programme to use.
With the fully integrated models, the controls are discreetly concealed from view when you dont need to see them. The entry level model offers simple push button controls and check lights to remind you when to replenish the salt and rinse aid. Going up the range, a time left display is introduced together with a delay start option and a tab button to optimise the programme to the

Cool controls
Creating the perfect environment for the storage of food is the main purpose of any refrigerator or freezer. Miele refrigeration utilises the latest technology in a range of control types to ensure that not only is the internal environment created as efficiently as possible, but that it is also maintained, thus ensuring food is stored in the best possible conditions.
The entry level appliances feature a simple rotary dial inside the appliance to set the required temperature range. Some of these appliances also offer a winter setting which can be activated to maintain the internal temperature of the appliance during periods of below average ambient temperatures.
Interior design Easy cleaning and adjustability are key factors to be considered when purchasing a new refrigeration appliance. All Miele appliances feature glass shelves manufactured from safety glass which has the additional benefit of helping maintain the interior temperature. The shelves can hold up to 25 kg and all are easily removed for cleaning purposes. A selected number of shelves in all Miele appliances are adjustable, which enable you to make best use of the space available. The majority of models also feature split shelves for added convenience.
Interior door shelving The Miele interior door shelving is made from high quality frosted plastic with chrome framing. All shelves are height-adjustable and are easily removed for cleaning. A covered dairy compartment with sliding lid protects the contents from transfer of odours. Interior lighting Lighting in the refrigerator section of Miele refrigeration appliances provide an effective uniform spread of light to enable a good view of the contents.
Freezer drawers Transparent freezer drawer fronts feature on the majority of Miele freezers. These allow a quick view of the contents without the need to pull out the drawer. A frozen food marker system enables a further indication of the drawer contents. Miele drawers are enclosed on all sides, which helps to maintain the drawer temperature when it is opened. They are easily removed for cleaning and are designed not to tip.
