| I think the router is a big improvement as far as signal strength, speed and lack of dead spots is concerned. I had a regular 802. This router replaces my burnt out Belkin G router and it is night and day, especially if your system can handle N speeds of up to 300 MBPS. | |

Steam machine with single oven
At Miele we are always striving to improve our products and make cooking easier and more pleasurable. Our latest range of ovens are a dream. They combine the very latest in technology with ease of use and convenience.
Simple and easy to use
Controls Miele ovens offer a wide range of control types to suit different user preferences from simple dial controls to state-of-the-art sensor touch controls. Whichever oven you choose, you are guaranteed simple operation and intuitive use. The rotary dials are simple to operate and can be retracted into the control panel for a flush finish. The controls are all centrally mounted for a consistent and balanced look, and models featuring a display keep you informed about the cooking process. The clock timer shows the time of day, functions as a minute minder and, depending on model, can automatically switch the oven off or on and off at the pre-selected time. The display also keeps you informed of the temperatures you have selected and the progress of your meal. On most models, the oven will recommend a temperature with each function. You can alter this easily in 5C stages, or even alter the pre-set temperatures to suit your requirements.
Electro-mechanical controls Our entry-level models offer simple electromechanical retractable dial controls for selecting the temperature and 6 cooking functions. They also feature an electronic clock timer and have a minute minder. A clear text display is offered on higher end models for simplicity of use.
Electronic controls Further up the range, we offer simple electronic retractable dial controls for selecting the temperature and 9 cooking functions. These ovens also feature an electronic clock timer for switching the oven on and off automatically and have a minute minder. These models feature a large clear text display for intuitive operation and offer pre-set recommended temperatures for ease of use.
HBS Pizza stone
Glazed firebrick with easy-clean surface coating. Suitable for use on the wire rack in all current Miele ovens (not suitable for use in combi ovens with integrated microwave). For baking pizzas, bread, rolls and tarts eliminates the process of blind baking in ovens that do not have the Intensive bake function. Excellent heat storage properties that ensure crispy results. Supplied with wooden paddle.
Roasting filter
This accessory fits into the back of the oven, and helps keep the oven and fan in the back wall clean and as grease-free as possible. It comes as standard with most ovens, and can be purchased as an optional accessory for all ovens.

CVA 2660
NESPRESSO coffee uses only the best and most exclusive coffees from around the world which are handpicked for their quality. They are then blended, roasted, ground and hermetically sealed into foil capsules for complete freshness.
Vario cooking zones Pans of different sizes can be used on the same zone.
Stunning design and function
HiLight elements Due to the extremely short heat-up time of the HiLight elements, cooking times are considerably reduced. At the same time, heat is evenly distributed.
Sensor controls Individual functions and heat levels are easily selected by simply touching the sensor controls. Residual heat indicators There is an indicator for each cooking zone to show whether it is still hot or not. Peace of mind If something spills over onto the control panel, or you place something like a tea towel over the controls, the hob will switch itself off automatically, to prevent it accidentally burning on or igniting. Hob cleaner A cleaning agent for keeping ceramic surfaces pristine is available to order from the Miele Spare Parts Department or from our website on www.miele.co.uk. System/Safety lock Touching the key or lock symbol when the hob is in use acts as a safety lock, preventing any unwanted changes to settings. It can also be activated as a system lock when the hob is not in use to prevent children from operating it. Safety switch off As an extra safety precaution the hob has pre-programmed maximum operating times which depend on the power level being used. The hob will switch itself off automatically if this duration is exceeded when a pan is in place and the power setting has not been altered.
Timer The timer can be used to select a time from 199 minutes for one or more cooking zones (depending on model). The zone switches off automatically at the end of the time, making cooking easy and safe. The timer can also be used as a minute-minder.
Programmable functions A number of standard settings on all of these hobs can also be modified to meet individual requirements. These include timer and power range settings, audible tones and how the safety lock is operated.
Memory programme The Memory function on the KM 5670 and KM 5673 can be used for storing up to 5 of your favourite cooking processes to ensure the same great results time after time. N.B.: Features will vary depending on model.

Induction hobs
KM 5753
Induction heating Like gas, induction is extremely easy and quick to control. The ability to precisely control the power makes induction perfect for all types of cooking. It is highly reactive and extremely safe. The cooking surface is cool in operation and only generates heat where the pan sits. As soon as the pan is removed, the flow of heat stops immediately. A range of induction products, including a panoramic 90 cm wide hob, make it stylish and practical.
Sensor controls Individual functions and heat levels are easily selected by simply touching the sensor controls. As the electronic controls are located underneath the ceramic surface, the control area has a smooth, flat finish that is very easy to keep clean.
Timer The timer can be used to select a time from 1-99 minutes for any of the zones. The zone switches off automatically at the end of the time, making cooking easy and safe. It can also be used as a minute minder.
Auto heat-up The auto heat-up facility gives an initial boost to the normal power output to bring the pan up to temperature rapidly. The heat then reduces automatically to the chosen output for continued cooking.
Booster function All zones are fitted with a booster function. If activated, the zone(s) will operate on power setting 9 for ten minutes. The different cooking zone sizes means that the booster can be used for a variety of pan sizes, and ensure minimum heating-up times. Programmable functions A number of standard settings on all of these hobs can also be modified to meet individual requirements. These include timer and power range settings, audible tones and how the safety lock is operated. Stop and Go function With the Stop and Go function the power level of all zones in use is automatically reduced to the lowest setting. This allows you to leave the kitchen for brief periods, e.g. to answer the door. Residual heat indicators A symbol will appear in the display for each cooking zone to show whether it is still hot or not. Memory programme The Memory function on the KM 5773 can be used for storing up to 5 of your favourite cooking processes to ensure the same great results time after time.

If you are looking for something a little different, the Miele Tepan is definitely for you! It is designed for oriental style stir-fry cooking, but is by no means limited to oriental ingredients! This versatile plate is ideal for everything from steak to pancakes, from fish to a full English breakfast. You cook directly on the plate, and because it requires very little oil or fat it is a very healthy way of cooking. When heated the Tepan provides an intense heat in the centre for cooking and dips by about 18 mm in the centre to contain the cooking juices. The outer area is cooler allowing you to cook more delicate items, or keep cooked food warm whilst you add more ingredients to a stir-fry. The Tepan is available in two versions. The CT 400 P is designed for building into a worktop in your kitchen, and the CT 400 MP is a mobile trolley with the Tepan plate built into it. The mobile Tepan is designed for use in the home. If you wish to use it outside the home you will need to have the electrical connection point approved for such use by a suitably qualified electrician to ensure safety.

Care LED Some models have a Care LED on the control panel, which will light up if the main wash temperature of the programme selected is less than 55. If you are not sure whether the programme selected is suitable for glassware, you can simply rely on this LED to let you know you have selected the right programme. On models with the PLUS-display, the GlassCare symbol is shown in the display.
Unique cutlery tray Clever design makes a unique third wash level possible in Mieles SC model dishwashers. This takes the form of a cutlery tray for which Miele hold the European patent. Because each item sits securely in its own slot, it doesnt touch any other piece of cutlery, and water runs off freely, assuring you of excellent washing and drying results. You can even wash stainless steel and silver cutlery in the same load without damaging your silverware. The cutlery tray is safer, too. Sharp knives and utensils can be placed in the tray with no dangerous edges exposed. And because you dont need to touch knife blades or fork and spoon heads, germs dont pass from your hands to clean cutlery, so loading and unloading is much more hygienic than with a basket.
Adjustable upper basket Models with the cutlery tray also offer the benefit of a height adjustable upper basket with a hinged cup rack. Simply grasp the handles on either side, and the basket can be raised or lowered or even set on a slant to suit the height of the dishes you want to load.
Two in one: the divided cutlery tray The original just got better! Some dishwashers feature the divided cutlery tray. Each part of the cutlery tray (which is divided 1/3 and 2/3) is individually removable. So when you need to, you can remove a section and place long stemmed glasses in the upper basket, leaning them safely against the glass supports on the left hand side. Then the rest of the cutlery tray can be filled as normal.

Interior design Easy cleaning and adjustability are key factors to be considered when purchasing a new refrigeration appliance. All Miele appliances feature glass shelves manufactured from safety glass which has the additional benefit of helping maintain the interior temperature. The shelves can hold up to 25 kg and all are easily removed for cleaning. A selected number of shelves in all Miele appliances are adjustable, which enable you to make best use of the space available. The majority of models also feature split shelves for added convenience. Freezer drawers Transparent freezer drawer fronts feature on the majority of Miele freezers. These allow a quick view of the contents without the need to pull out the drawer. A frozen food marker system enables a further indication of the drawer contents. Miele drawers are enclosed on all sides, which helps to maintain the drawer temperature when it is opened. They are easily removed for cleaning and are designed not to tip. Interior door shelving The Miele interior door shelving systems are designed with flexibility and convenience in mind. Most models feature split level shelves for bulky items and self-closing egg compartments. Some models offer additional flexibility with removable containers with lids in stainless steel for storing and serving food.
Interior lighting Lighting in the refrigerator section of Miele refrigeration appliances provide an effective uniform spread of light to enable a good view of the contents. Models feature either halogen or LED interior lighting.
Soft-close door A large number of models feature a softclose door mechanism. This system effectively dampens door movement and allows controlled opening and closing of the door, even with heavy furniture doors fitted.
Bottle rack Many models feature a stainless steel bottle rack for the safe storage of wine and other glass bottles.
Energy consumption The 2007 range has vastly improved energy consumption levels with the majority of appliances at A+ and A++.
Vegetable drawer rollers For added convenience some models feature drawer rollers for smooth and efficient vegetable drawer opening and closing.
