MIELES M8000-2 SERIES BUILT-IN MICROWAVES Flexibility of kitchen placement with design elegance and ease of operation
Miele has revolutionised the convenience in the placement of built-in microwaves with the introduction of the stylish new M8000-2 series. The Miele M8000-2 series comprises the M8260-2 and M8261-2 built-in microwaves, featuring intelligent ventilation technology that makes installation possible under bench tops, giving consumers the flexibility of installation to suit their exact preferences. In addition to featuring a new ventilation concept, the M8260-2 and M8261-2 are elegant in appearance, easy to operate and have high quality features; making each model simply a delight to have in the kitchen. Unlike the usual method, the new built-in microwaves release vapours into the kitchen via the front frame and not at the back of the unit where damage can occur to cupboard space in the long run. It also means installation is quick and easy and there is no limitation to the placement of the unit, with installation possible either above or below the bench top space in the kitchen. The automatic weight programs of the M 8000-2 series are excellent for thawing, heating and cooking frozen or fresh foods. After selecting the desired program, the weight of the food is entered using the rotary knob and the appropriate cooking time and power setting is calculated simply and without complication! The memory feature is the microwaves brain as it allows one to three stage program sequences to be saved as a single program. In addition, the Quick Start feature allows quick access to maximum power, making it very easy to heat up food and beverages and to do so automatically. The heat retention feature switches on automatically if food or beverages are left in the microwave once the set cooking time is complete. This feature automatically prevents the content from cooling down, even if it remains in the microwave for up to 15 minutes. The M8261-2 features a grill, which guarantees quick and uniform browning, and can be used alone or in combination with the microwave features. A timer ensures that all models within the Miele 8000-2 series give a perfect result. Aesthetically, the horizontal lines, black glass and stainless steel emphasise the optimum design of the appliances. -more-

Characteristic of Miele appliances, the inner cabinet of the new M 8000-2 series is made from stainless steel, whilst the fronts of the built-in units feature CleanSteel a special surface finish that allows cleaning without special cleaning agents. The M8260-2 Built-in Microwave is available from Miele Chartered Agents for an introductory selling price of $1,699.00. The M 8261-2 built-in microwave, which also includes a grill, is available for $1,899.00.
