Mike Thanks for the tip. I will try it when I get home this evening. I'm not sure it will be the solution. I see the graphics but they consist of blocks of the graphic. When I click on "show original image" then the image smooths out and the picture looks normal. I don't know if the correct term is pixalated but the graphic is distorted. I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks Sue >Original Message >Open Control Panel, open Internet Options, go to the Advanced tab, scroll to >Multimedia and be sure show images is checked, make sure "Show image >download placeholders" is not selected, click apply and ok. > >If that already is selected, you may have some security software blocking >images, check any firewalls, antivirus, add blocking and popup blocking >software you may have installed on your system and be sure their one of >their options isn't blocking images. > > >Michael Solomon MSMVP >Windows Shell/User >Backup is a PC User's Best Friend >DTSL.Org: http://www.dtsl.org/ > >"pez82350" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >news:2821c01c4638d$299b5200$a301280a@phx.gbl. >>I have a Mitsubishi DiamondPoint V50LCD Flat Panel >> Monitor. Finally following up on my own, lonely, unanswered message, in case anyone finds it in the archive and has a similar problem. After weeks of running at 800x600 because I was too busy or lazy to spend time on the problem, I visited the NEC/Mitsubishi site and read their troubleshooting guide. It recommends a shielded video cable. That fixed it. Mind you, the panel's cable is permanently attached, but adding a sixfoot shielded extension solved the problem. I speculate that the original unshielded cable was hanging too close to the fan motor, but that's a pure guess. In any case, problem solved.
