HT820 Bluetooth Stereo Headphones
You can use your HT820 headphones simultaneously with a Bluetooth A2DP enabled audio device and your Bluetooth cell phones! Listen to music, hear a beep, and transfer to take the call on the headphones. Hang up the call with a push of a button and your music automically continues playing.
Any Bluetooth Enabled Audio Device* HT820
Before using your HT820 for the first time, charge the headphones for 2 hours:

Before you can use your headphones with a Bluetooth enabled product, you must pair it with that product. To pair:
Your Headphones & Audio Device Your headphones are successfully paired with a device and ready to use when the blue indicator lights changes from steadily lit, flashes rapidly, and then slowly flashes. To confirm they are operating properly:
TEST AND USE
1 Make sure your headphones are turned off

You can also use a Motorola Original Vehicle Power Adapter to charge your headphones while in your vehicle. A fully charged battery provides approximately: 14 hrs of music listening, 17 hrs of talk time, or 500 hrs of standby time.
See Music Controls for information about using the HT820 volume and playback controls. After successfully pairing, you do not need to repeat these initial setup steps each time you use the headphones. Just power on both devices and they automatically connect.

TURN ON AND OFF
To turn your headphones on, press and hold the left side Call m button until the indicator light flashes 3 times (about 3 seconds). Then, release the button. To turn your headphones off, press and hold the left side Call m button until the indicator light flashes rapidly and then turns off (about 3 seconds). To conserve battery power, turn off the headphones when you will not be using it.
CONNECT SIMULTANEOUSLY
Simultaneous connect your headphones with a music device AND your phone! Pair the headphones to the music device (PAIR). Then pair the headset with your phone (backside of guide). Power your headphones off and then back on. After a few moments it will connect with both the music device and phone.

Your headphones are designed to be worn comfortably with the neck band positioned behind your head. The microphone is located in the right ear-piece. Digital Signal processing is used for clear pickup of your voice during voice calls.
Note: The remote control functions only work when the headphones are directly connected to source device. via Bluetooth.
To adjust the volume, press the + or - buttons on the left side of your headphones. To Skip Back to the previous song: Press the Skip Reverse Button < on the right side of your headset. To Skip forward to the next song: Press the Skip Forward Button > To Play, Pause, or Stop music: Press the Music Button M to play, pause, or stop the music. To connect non-Bluetooth Devices to your headphones: Use the headphone jack and the included cable.
Bluetooth as a wireless technology could be subject to interference of other wireless traffic existing in your environment. Try turning your headphone off and back on. This automatically resets the connection. If you experience audio interruptions while the headphone is connected to both music source and a Bluetooth phone, disconnecting the phone will eliminate the audio interruptions.

Make sure your headphones are turned off. If your headset is on, turn it off by pressing and holding the left side Call m button until the indicator light flashes 3 times (about 3 seconds).

Your phone's Bluetooth feature is off by default. So, to use your headset, you must turn on the Bluetooth feature in your phone. For most Motorola phones: 1 Select M (Menu ) > Settings > Connection >
1 Select M (Menu ) > Settings > Connection >
Bluetooth Link > Handsfree > Look for Devices.
The phone lists all Bluetooth devices it finds. 2 Select Motorola HT820. device. 4 Enter the passkey 0000 and press OK. Note: Passkey cannot be changed from 0000.
Your phone and headphones are now paired and ready to make and receive calls. To confirm they are operating properly, make a call:
1 Place the headphones over your ear. See
Wear the Headset on the reverse side of this guide. to call and press the Send key.
Bluetooth Link > Setup.
3 Press OK or Yes to pair (link) the handsfree
2 On your phone, dial the number you want 3 If your phone and headphones are
successfully paired, you will hear ringing in the headphones.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to first follow the Quick Start Guide on the reverse side of this guide to complete initial setup of your HT820.

feature. Bluetooth feature remains on until you turn it off.
Note: These steps are for most Motorola phones. For other phones, see your phone's user's guide.
When your headphones are successfully paired with your phone, the blue indicator light rapidly flashes and then resumes regular flashing.
Note: For more details, see "Pair," Step 1 on the reverse side of this guide.
See Make Calls for details regarding answering and ending calls using the headset. After you have successfully paired your phone and headphones, you do not need to repeat these initial setup steps each time you use the headphones. Just turn the power on and they will automatically connect.

Note: The DC800 Home Stereo Adapter is a Class 1 Bluetooth device. Bluetooth features and Bluetooth Class 1 power levels are not allowed for outdoor operation in France. To avoid unlawful interference with radio signals, do not use the Bluetooth features in France unless you are indoors. Note: To operate with the DC800 Home Stereo Adapter, your Bluetooth audio device must support A2DP Profile capability. Note: To maintain compliance with RF exposure guidelines, you must keep the DC800 Home Stereo Adapter at least 20 centimeters (8 inches) away from any person.
Note: This guide does not provide steps for pairing your gateway with a Bluetooth USB PC Adapter or a Bluetoothenabled PC. Consult the USB Adapter or PC's user guide for details on completing this step.
1 Holding your headphone close to the

If using the Motorola HT820 Bluetooth Stereo Headphone, place in pairing mode by pressing and holding the headphone's Call button for approximately 6 seconds until the indicator light is solidly lit. For other products, refer to your headset's user's guide for details.
2 Turn on the stereo adapter by pressing in
the Power button. After a few moments, the Pairing Button indicator light begins blinking to indicate the power is on.

TROUBLESHOOTING
My stereo adapter doesn't find my headphone. Make sure the headphone is close to the stereo adapter and in pairing mode, and the Pairing button indicator light on your stereo adapter is on and steady (see step 3). My stereo adapter worked with my phone before but now it's not working. Make sure your phone is on and the Bluetooth feature is turned on in your phone. If the Bluetooth feature was turned off or was turned on only temporarily, you may need to restart the Bluetooth feature and pair your phone and stereo adapter again (see step 4). Support. On your home stereo system, play music from your favorite source and turn the stereo receiver to that source. Place the headphone on your head. If your stereo adapter and headphone are successfully paired, you will hear music on the headphone. To verify the phone and stereo adapter work together:
1 Turn on the stereo adapter by pressing in the
Pairing Button with Indicator Light Power Button Power button. After a few moments, the Pairing button indicator light begins blinking to indicate the power is on.
3 Press and hold the Pairing button on the
stereo adapter until the indicator light remains solidly lit (about 5 seconds). The stereo adapter searches for Bluetooth devices. When the stereo adapter finds the headphone, the indicator light rapidly flashes indicating that pairing is successful. Once the connection is established, the indicator light changes to a slower, pulsing light.
2 From the phone, perform a Bluetooth device

Housing feet are built-in and can be rotated 90 degress allowing the stereo adapter to stand vertically. For horizontal orientation, the feet remain flush for compact storage.
OPERATING WITH BLUETOOTH DEVICES
Once paired with a Bluetooth device, the stereo adapter automatically connects to the device when it is in range and turned on. The DC800 Home Stereo Adapter stores pairing information for up to eight Bluetooth devices. Device IDs are stored in the gateway's memory in the order entered. If you try to pair with more than eight devices, the oldest paired device is removed from memory.
DC800 FUNCTIONS
Function Turn On DC800 Action Press in the Power button. The DC800 attempts to connect to the last device it was connected to. Press and hold the Pairing button until the indicator light remains solidly lit (about 5 seconds). The DC800 scans for Bluetooth devices.
