The SC4000 Full Data Communicator is compatible with Bosch Security Systems 9000/7000 Series products. When used in conjunction with these panels, the SC4000 provides Line Security (Grade AA) between the Central Station and the Protected Premises. The resulting system from this configuration is suitable for all services common to both products: Central Station Fire Police Station Connected Burglary Central Station Burglary Proprietary Burglary Household Burglary Fire Warning Systems For UL Certificated installations, the following configuration and limitations must be observed:

Bosch Security Systems 9000/7000 Series Panel Compatibility
The SC4000 must be interfaced to the control /communicators telephone circuit. Do not substitute the telephone connection with the zone inputs of the SC4000. The SAFECOM LS-500 should not be used with the control/communicator. The control/communicator reporting format may be BSFK or Modem IIIa2. The control/communicator and the SC4000 shall be installed in the same room, not more than 20 ft. (6.1 m) apart. All interconnections between the two products must be in conduit.

The following alarm panels equipped with a Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter (DACT) were demonstrated to UL for UL Listing as compatible with the SAFECOM radio system when using one or more of the standard digital dialer formats:
