Instructions for NEC MULTISYNC LT 100 Projector
Section A- Instructions to use Computer or Laptop
1. Make sure MAIN POWER is on (located on back of projector) 2. Press and hold down ON/OFF button until you hear the projector starting 3. Connect video cable into RGB INPUT on projector and the other end of the cable to the video output of the computer 4. Turn on computer or laptop 5. If image is still not seen on big screen press MENU then when SOURCE MENU comes up press ENTER then set projector to RGB STANDARD. 6. Toggle your computer setting by holding down the FN key and pressing the F8 key until the image is seen on your monitor and the big screen. 7. Zoom and focus are control by turning the lens of the projector. 8. To run sound plug speaker cable into speaker output on your computer-then plug the other end of the cable into the AUDIO input jack of the RGB INPUT on the projector 9. Section B-Instructions to use VCR
1. Make sure MAIN POWER is on (located on back of projector.) 2. Press and hold down ON/OFF button until you hear projector starting 3. Connect stereo cables to VCR-the yellow jack goes to the yellow VIDEO OUT plug, and the white jack goes to the white AUDIO OUT plug. 4. Connect the other end of the stereo cables to the projector the yellow jack goes to the yellow VIDEO INPUT plug and the white plug goes to white L (MONO) plug. 5. If image is not seen press MENU button on top of projector arrow up with the SELECT button to SOURCE MENU press the ENTER button then arrow up to VIDEO and press ON/OFF button quickly to clear menu off screen 6. Insert VHS tape into VCR and press play on the VCR 7. To turn off equipment, see Section D Instructions to Turn Off Equipment
Section C- Instructions to hookup External Speakers
1. Plug 1/8 jack on R speaker into OUTPUT AUDIO (located on the side of the projector) 2. Plug stereo jack on L (left) speaker into R (right) speaker. 3. Plug power transformer into R speaker then plug in power transformer 4. Turn on speakers (on/off button on the back of speakers) 5. To turn off equipment, see Section D Instructions to Turn Off Equipment
Section D Instructions to Turn Off Equipment
1. If you are using the projector, turn off the projector by pressing the main power button on the back of the projector 2. If you are using the VCR, eject the VHS tape and press the Power button on the VCR 3. If you are using external speakers, turn off speakers by pressing the on/off button on the back of the speakers
