NETGEAR delivers a cost-effective solution - the JFS524F unmanaged 10/100 Fast Ethernet switch provides expanded connectivity for small office networks to enable long distance and secure uplink connections. Standards-based for easy integration of 10 and 100 Mbps devices, this unmanaged, rack-mountable switch feature 24 10/100 Mbps ports and one slot for 100FX fiber connectivity. With 200 Mbps throughput per port, plus Auto Uplink on every port, growing business networks can benefit from superior performance and keep up with expanding network needs.

Switched 10/100 ports and one 100FX slot provides private bandwidth for PCs, servers, or hubs, and a secure, long-distance uplink connection via the AF711F 100FX module. All 24 ports provide automatic speed and duplex sensing, plus Auto Uplink to adjust for straight-through or crossover cables and make the right link. Ever-vigilant, the JFS524F begins to operate as soon as it's powered on - with no configuration required. Compact enough for desktop but comes with a rack mount kit. Compatible with PC, Macintosh, Linux, and Unix operating systems. This rugged metal unit is conveniently compact for an uncluttered desktop or easy rack mounting. And, it allows you easily intermix 10 and 100 Mbps devices within your unmanaged network.
