| Is fairly standard with all Nokia phones; there is the phone itself (with the battery), a wired hands free kit (basically a headphone and a wire). It in preference to the Nokia 3310 which came as standard with my mobile phone tariff. | |

M Nokia 6310i Bluetooth Connections
You can use the Microsoft Wireless Transceiver for Bluetooth to transfer files, contacts, and other information between your Nokia 6310i mobile phone and your computer. For this to work correctly, you must first configure the computer and mobile phone to communicate with each other. This document will help you configure your computer and your mobile phone to communicate over a Bluetooth connection, and step you through synchronizing your data. These instructions assume that: You have already set up and configured your Microsoft Wireless Transceiver for Bluetooth on your computer. You have the PC Suite 4.82 CD-ROM, or you have downloaded the latest version of PC Suite from the Support are at http://www.nokia.com. You are running Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed.
To configure your phone for Bluetooth connections
1 Press Menu, press Connectivity, and then press Bluetooth. 2 Press Select, and then choose On. 3 Navigate to Bluetooth Settings, and set My phones visibility to Shown to all. 4 (Optional:) Navigate to My phones name, and then enter a custom name for your mobile phone.
To install and configure PC Suite for Nokia 6310i
1 On your computer, start the PC Suite installation from the CD-ROM or by double-clicking the.exe file downloaded from the Web. 2 Follow the installation instructions, including restarting your computer. 3 After the computer has restarted, click Start, point to All Programs, point to PC Suite for Nokia 7650, and then click PC Suite for Nokia 6310i. When the software starts for the first time, it prompts you to connect your mobile phone to the computer. 4 On your computer, click Start, click Control Panel, click Printers and other Hardware, and then click Bluetooth Devices. 5 On the Devices tab, click Add. 6 Follow the instructions in the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard to install your mobile phone. When prompted, you will need to enter a passkey on your mobile phone to accept the connection from your computer. 7 Write down the incoming and outgoing COM port numbers that you see on the Finish page. You will need this number to configure PC Suite in step 9. 8 Double-click the mRouter icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar. 9 Select the check box corresponding to the incoming COM port you noted in step 7, and then click Close to return to PC Suite. Note If you still get an error message that your device is not connected, try selecting another COM port in the mRouter settings screen. 10 Return to the PC Suite for Nokia 6310i screen, and either enter a new custom name for your mobile phone or click OK to continue. 11 Follow the instructions in the PC Suite Wizard to customize what information will be synchronized with your mobile phone. 12 After the PC Suite Wizard is finished, click Synchronize to begin synchronization with your mobile phone.
To configure your Nokia 6310i as an authorized device
When your mobile phone is authorized as a paired device with your computer, you do not have to accept a Bluetooth connection request on your phone each time you use PC Suite. Take the following steps: 1 Press Menu, press Connectivity, and then press Bluetooth. 2 Navigate to the Paired Devices tab. 3 Select the name of your computer, press Options, and then press Set as authorized. 4 Press Yes to confirm settings.

This guide shows the procedures to replace a new keypad and clean metal button contacts for Nokia 6310i cell phone. Refer to the guides for removing the battery and separating the case from the motherboard.

Step 1 - Battery
Press and hold the battery release button and slide the battery away from the Nokia logo
Step 2 - SIM card
Slide the SIM card lock away from the SIM card. The SIM card pops out. Remove the SIM card.

Step 3 - Back Cover
Unscrew and remove the four T6 Torx screws.
Step 4
Insert a plastic opening tool between the faceplate and the black backplate. Gently pry them apart, working from the lower end to the upper side of the phone.

Step 5
Use the plastic opening tool to separate the top part of the backplate. The plastic clips at the top require slightly more force to separate.
Step 6 - Antenna
Remove the screw holding the antenna to the circuit board. Carefully lift off the antenna from the circuit board.

Step 7 - Motherboard
Lift off the motherboard from the faceplate.
Step 8 - Keypad
Remove the plastic keypad from the faceplate.
