Feature-rich and up to any task Perfect for high-volume environments, B6500 Series printers have a monthly duty cycle of 200,000 pages. That translates into 10,000 pages per work day 1 proposals, reports, memos, spreadsheets, schedules, you name it. These are the printers for the job. Theyre not just reliable, theyre also fastprinting at up to 45 ppm, with the first page appearing in under 8 seconds.2 Users will spend less time waiting for their documentswhich will be crisp and clear at a resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. All B6500 Series models come with 128 MB of memory and 700-sheet paper capacity. As your printing needs change, these printers can handle them with an array of performanceenhancing options. Increase memory to 640 MB for processing large files, and boost the paper capacity to a max of 1,800 sheets with two 550sheet trayswhich can be used to hold different types of media. Theres an optional offset catch tray that lets you separate your output for easy retrieval. And you can add a 40 GB hard disk drive or compact flash to support such productivity features as Secure Print, Proof &Print, and Delayed Print. With duplex (2-sided) printing, you can double your efficiency by printing on both sides of the paper.3 And with the in-tray envelope feeding capability, all four B6500 Series models can print up to 100 envelopeswithout the need for a separate external feeder.4 At home in your environment B6500 Series printers are compatible with Windows XP, Server 2003, 2000, Me, 98, Windows NT 4.0, Mac, Unix and Linux. While all are equipped with USB, parallel and serial connectivity, the B6500n, B6500dn and B6500dtn also have Ethernet connectivity so that everyone can take advantage of the productivity and cost savings.
