Thanks to a fold-up paper tray, they take up little more room than a standard handset. And they provide all the latest phone functions: caller identification on display, list of calls made, mute, phone book for storage of 60 numbers. The FAX-LAB 360 SMS also features a practical digital answerphone with a large memory, remote access, message transfer to a pre-set number and storage of personal voice memos. MORE THAN A PLAIN-PAPER FAX The Olivetti FAX-LAB 310 SMS e 360 SMS implement state-of-the-art ink-jet fax technology. With all the benefits this provides, beginning with security. Incoming fax often contain confidential information: ink-jet is the only technology that ensures that no-one else will read the fax, because no record of the printed documents is kept in the machine. As for running costs, ink-jet technology uses only the minimum amount of ink needed to print incoming fax; and since thermal printheads are not needed, energy consumption is much lower
