There are three ways to reconfirm your route. Route Preview gives you a view of the entire route at a glance. Simulation graphically takes you along your entire selected course, from starting point to destinationa particularly valuable function when choosing among several alternative routes. And the Manoeuvre List feature displays written instructions for your entire trip, including all roads, sector distances and turns, as well as total distance and estimated driving time.

One Disc for the Whole Trip MP3 stands for MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3, and is a process that compresses sound sequences, allowing you to fit 10- to 12-times more music on a disc. Download MP3s from the Web, or convert your favourite CD tracks to MP3 format, then record your compilation onto a CD-R or CD-RW. With up to 12-times the capacity of a conventional CD, a single MP3-encoded disc can keep you entertained throughout your entire journey. That means no more bothersome disc swapping, even on long drives.
Simplified Disc Navigation To make it easy to find a specific song, files can be grouped and organised into folders by music genre and/or artist before they are transferred to disc.* You can then use the display on your Panasonic MP3-compatible CD player/receiver to scroll through folders or files until you come to your selection. The extra-large display on the CQ-DFX972 can actually show both folders and files at the same time, up to 31 characters long.
