| This lens is a great buy. The only canon IS lens with a similar range that I have seen is the 70-300mm with USM priced at around $600. I,m pretty new to SLR cameras. Really increases versatility compared to basic lens that came with the Canon Rebel XS Consistent Output,Lightweight Tough To Attach | |

| A good value for the price, about half of any other stabilized lens of similar range. Could be better built , including a metal mount. | |

Preferably install it in the driver's compartment. Install the main unit on a firm base inside the driver's compartment, such as on the floor or in the console box. Any changes in its position may cause the position of your vehicle to deviate in the screen. Choose the location for installing the main unit so that it is easy to reach it for inserting and removing the map DVD-ROM and points in a convenient direction. Do not install the main unit on its side or upside down. This may cause malfunctions. Install the main unit in horizontal position. The permissible tilt is within 10 side to side and within 30 front to back.
