Does a great job at nearly everything you would expect of a digital camera. Sometimes does not focus correctly when dark, distance, flash photo. Where to begin? When it comes to cameras, probably with a description of what I use it for. I am usually a casual photographer. The snapshot guy.

This is my 3rd digital camera. Each has its strengths/shortcomings. Each has been an improvement upon the previous. What I like: 1. Una macchinetta che fa fotografie di ottimo livello (per la sua categoria), ma che costa parecchio.

Very nice camera, ultra compact. Quick Startup, 16:9 Pictures, Battery Life, Excellant Screen, Size/weight, Optical Image Stabilization!!!!! I have been using this camera for the last 3 months. The pictures are great! There are lots of great scene options.

Overall this camera packs alot of punch for the money. Wide angle lens, Image Stabilization, and decent video no wievfinder and noise at high ISO I have had several comact digital cameras, unfortunately I would have to rate the DMC-FX01S as one of the worse I have owned. I really can find none.

Update 10/1/08My Lumix is history and I do not recommend this camera. Does a great job at nearly everything you would expect of a digital camera. Sometimes does not focus correctly when dark, distance, flash photo.
