pemaraal adapter for Panasonic DMC-FZ7 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Models FZ752H & FZ755H
Your adapter arrives assembled. If for any reason you disassemble it, slip the outer tube over the narrow end (the camera end) of the inner tube, and rotate the outer tube counter clockwise until it is fully extended over the front of the inner tube. Rotation will cease when it reaches the built-in stop.
This adapter consists of 2 parts: an inner and an outer tube. The inner tube attaches to the camera and accepts accessories such as lens caps, step-rings, filters and conversion lenses. The outer tube extends outward and serves as a lens hood when needed. Please read carefully and become familiar with the mounting instructions before using.
1. Turn off the camera. Remove the lens cap. The adapter must be orientated as shown, with the outer tube fully extended. (Figure 1) 2. Grasp the inner tube and rotate the assembly carefully into the mounting threads of the camera. Tighten the inner tube firmly but not excessively. (Figure 1) 3. Rotate the outer tube to retract it back towards the camera so that it overlaps the inner tube. Rotation stops when it reaches the camera. (Figure 2) 4. Adapter is now ready to accept accessories. The FZ752H accepts 52mm accessories; the FZ755H accepts 55mm. Install or remove accessories only when the outer tube is in this position. Hold the camera and outer ring securely when removing accessories. (Figure 2) 5. Rotate the outer tube counter clockwise to enable the lens hood. A filter mounted to the inner tube will not impede the hood. Rotation will cease when it reaches the built in stop. (Figure 3) IMPORTANT: When enabling the lens hood or removing accessories, always check that the inner tube connection to the camera has not become loose. If you notice or suspect that it has, immediately re-tighten the connection. Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the camera, the adapter and/or the accessory.
