| I would not buy a Panasonic KX-TCA60 Headset again. I expect phone headsets to last longer than five months before failing like this one did. | |

| This is not a PC headset, it works great with my AT&T 2-line desk phone. Slips on easily, ear piece is comfortable. I have had very good luck with most Panasonic products (vs SONY, which for me. Great quality and price. Works with all my wireless and wired phones that have a 2.5 mm jack Shipping cost | |

| I purchased 6 of these for my technicians to use. Hands free operation in a noisy environment while they walk, climb ladders and use hand tools. Love this headset! It is super comfortable and makes it so easy to be on the phone while getting other things done... | |

KX-FP320E/KX-FM330E 6.9.6. SIDE TONE CIRCUIT (Change from original page 174)
1. Function A sidetone is the returning of the TX signal to the RX signal. The sidetone circuit uses a bridge circuit to attenuate the sidetone. Howling may occur if the attenuation of the sidetone is inadequate. 2. Circuit Operation C159 The TX signal is output to the circuit along the route from the IC10-1pin C37 R58 R57 T1 TEL LINE. However, if balance is lost in the bridge as shown below, a voltage occurs between the IC10-5 pin and 6 pin and a sidetone results. Because the balance cannot be maintained completely at all frequencies in the audio range, some sidetones always occur. Circuit Diagram

6.9.7. REMOTE FAX ACTIVATION CIRCUIT
1. Function Another telephone connected to same line activates the unit to the FAX mode by using a DTMF signal. 2. Circuit Operation TEL Line T2 C115 R154 IC5 (6167) R167 C134 IC2 (10 11) C68 CN7 (9) {CN501 (9) C701 IC801(34) C943 J604 C603 IC5(60)} { }.Digital board
6.9.8. AUTO DISCONNECT CIRCUIT (Addition)
(1) Function This circuit is used to detect that the telephone connected in parallel to the same line is OFF-hook while the unit picks up th e line. If this detection circuit is activated when TAM is being delivered, the delivery stops and the circuit is automatically released. (2) Circuit Operation If the line is picked up, C19 is charged by following the path shown below. D6 (+) Q3 R24 D12 C19 When the electric potential difference between the base and emitter of Q4 becomes less than about 0.3V, Q4 and Q6 and PC5 turn off, then the IC5 pin 5 becomes a high level. In this condition, if a telephone connected in parallel goes into OFF-hook status, the base of Q4 becomes low. On the other hand, the emitter of Q4 goes down because the capacitor (C19) is charged. Q4 turns on when the electric potential difference between the base and emitter of Q4 becomes more than 0.6 V while being charged. When Q4 turns on, Q6 and PC5 also turn on, then the IC5 pin 5 becomes a low level. Circuit Diagram

6.12. SPECIAL CIRCUIT ON THE ANALOG BOARD
6.12.1. CURRENT DETECTION CIRCUIT
1. Function This circuit detects whether the circuit current is flowing or not. It is also used for CPC detection and Ext. Tel Hook detection. 2. Circuit Operation If a circuit current of 10 mA or more flows in the IC1 coil when the unit or Ext. Tel is OFF-hook, the IC1 internal sensor detects this current. Then, depending on the direction of the current, the IC1-5 pin or 6 pin switches to a low level. Then, Q1 or Q2 is turns off, Q18 turns on, and the Gate Array IC4-43 pin on the digital board switches to a low level. If the line is cut off, the IC4-43 pin switches to a high level. Circuit Diagram

6.12.2. LOW PASS FILTER
1. Function This circuit is only incorporated into the products designed for the German market. Products for other markets are shorted by J33. This low pass filter attenuates the 16-kHz account signal from the commutator to eliminate influence on the conversation and communications. 2. Circuit Operation This low pass filter is an eighth-order active filter, and the cutoff frequency is approximately 4 kHz. Circuit Diagram

Connect the handset cord.
Connect the telephone line cord.
Connect the mains lead. q When the power is turned on for the first time, the unit will print some basic information.
Mains lead Handset cord
To B.T. socket Telephone line cord EXT jack (KX-FP300 only)
Note: q When you operate this product, the power outlet should be near the product and easily accessible. q If the following message is displayed when the unit is plugged in, the recording paper set lever will be released. Display: CHECK LEVER
Move the lever back (see step 3 on page 29). Telephone line connection is TNV (Telecommunication Network Voltage). KX-FP300 only You can connect an extension telephone or answering machine to the external telephone jack (EXT) on this unit (p. 71, 83). A voltage drop of 1.15 V at 40 mA will be introduced between the EXT jack and the B.T. socket. If you have difficulty in making a call or experience problems during a telephone conversation, consult your dealer or our service personnel.
Helpful hints when using an extension telephone (KX-FP300 only):
If you connect an extension telephone or answering machine to the facsimile unit, please take note of the following. q When an extension telephone or answering machine is in use, the facsimile unit will show the following message on the display: EXT. IN USE When a call is received and you press the MONITOR button on the facsimile unit, the call is switched to the facsimile unit, and the external device will be disconnected. q If no sound is heard when you lift the handset of the extension telephone, the facsimile unit is in use. q In the TEL/FAX mode, only the facsimile unit will ring. You cannot answer a call with the extension telephone.
