How To Register Handset to Base Unit
Find your model number in the left-hand column and follow the instructions in the adjoining righthand column. Model Number KX- TG5200 TG5202 TG5210 TG5212 TG5230 TG5240 TG5242 TG5243 TGA520 TGA523 Instructions 1) On handset, press MENU, 0, 0, 1. Handset display should show as follows:
*Skip this step when handset already shows as above. 2) On base unit, press LOCATOR for 3 sec until the CHARGE LED flashes. 3) On handset, press OK button. Then wait until handset display changes as follows:
*If this does not work, your unit is defective. Please send your unit for service. KX- TG6500 TG6502 TGA650 1) On handset, press MENU, 0, 0, 1. Handset display should show as follows:
*Skip this step when handset already shows as above. 2) On base unit, press LOCATOR for 3 sec until CHARGE LED flashes. 3) On handset, press OK button. Then wait until handset display changes as follows:
*If this does not work, your unit is defective. Please send your unit for service. KX- TG2700 TG2720 TG2730 TG2740 TG2750 TG2770 TGA270 TGA271 TGA272 TGA273 1) On handset, press FUNCTION. Then, using the Navigator key, press down (V) 4 times, right (>) 1 time, down (V) 7 times and right (>) 2 times. Handset display should show as follows:
*Skip this step when handset already shows as above. 2) On base unit, press MUTE. (MUTE LED flashes.) 3) On handset, press OK button. Then wait until handset display changes as follows:
*If this does not work, your unit is defective. Please send your unit for service.

1) Press FUNCTION on handset. Then, using the Navigator key, press Down (V) 4 times, Right (>) 1 time, Down (V) 5 times and Right (>) 2 times. Handset display should show as follows:
*Skip this step when handset already shows as above. 2) On base unit, press LOCATOR [ALL] for 3 seconds until CHARGE LED flashes. 3) Then, using the Navigator key on the handset, press Right (>) button. Then wait until handset display changes as follows:
*If this does not work, your unit is defective. Please send your unit for service. KX- TG5100 TG5110 TGA510 1) Press FUNCTION on handset. Then, using the Navigator key, press Down (V) 3 times, Right (>) 1 time, Down (V) 6 times and Right (>) 2 times. Handset display should show as follows:

1) On base unit, press LOCATOR [1] or [2] for 3 seconds. (CHARGE LED flashes.) *Select LOCATOR [1] or [2] depending on handset number you are registering. 2) On handset, press FLASH for 3 seconds. (Handset display shows "Handset Registering".) Then wait until handset display changes as follows:
*If this does not work, your unit is defective. Please send your unit for service. KX- TG2357 1) On base unit, press LOCATOR [1] or [2] for 3 seconds. (CHARGE LED light flashes.) *Select 1 or 2 depending on handset number you are registering. 2) On handset, press FLASH for 3 seconds. (Handset display shows "Handset Registering".) Then wait until handset display changes as follows:
*If this does not work, your unit is defective. Please send your unit for service. KX- TG2302 TG2322 1) On base unit, press LOCATOR for 3 seconds. (CHARGE LED flashes.) 2) On handset, press FLASH for 3 seconds. (VOICE ENHANCER LED flashes.) Then wait until a long beep sounds. *If this does not work, your unit is defective. Please send your unit for service. KX- TG2970 TGA290 1) Press FUNCTION on handset.
