Speed dial allows you to store up to ten phone numbers for quick dialing. To release the Mute, simply press the Mute button again either on the Base or Handset. 10. How do I erase the customized Handset name and return to the default name of Handset 1, Handset 2, etc.? On the Handset, press MENU, scroll to Initial setting, then select Change HS name, then enter custom name and press SAVE. The outside caller should press [0, #] to speak to the operator if the caller does not know the destination extension number. Operator may transfer the call to the destination extension provided the extension is not busy. When the destination extension is busy, the operator can give the caller the destination extension number then guide the caller to leave a message by pressing the VOICE MAIL button on the base unit and then hang up the line.
