I would not buy a Panasonic KX-TCA60 Headset again. I expect phone headsets to last longer than five months before failing like this one did.

I purchased 6 of these for my technicians to use. Hands free operation in a noisy environment while they walk, climb ladders and use hand tools. Just bought 2 more of these. The first broke after 4 years but I like them so much I keep buying. Very clear on both ends. Keeps one ear free.

Question How long is the battery operating time? Cause/solution L When you are using fully-charged Ni-MH batteries (supplied batteries); In continuous use: 15 hours max. Not in use (standby): 250 hours (10 days) max. L It is normal for batteries not to reach full capacity at the initial charge. L Actual battery performance depends on a combination of how often the handset is in use and how often it is not in use (standby). L Even after the handset is fully charged, the handset can be left on the base unit or charger without any ill effect on the batteries. L If the batteries are fully charged until & is displayed, but ) is displayed after a few calls, replace the batteries with new ones. L Clean the battery ends (S, T) and the charge contacts with a dry cloth and charge again.
