| This is not a PC headset, it works great with my AT&T 2-line desk phone. Slips on easily, ear piece is comfortable. I have had very good luck with most Panasonic products (vs SONY, which for me. 3 Screen saver mode
The backlight will turn off completely after 1 minute of inactivity if the handset is not on the base unit. To use the handset when it is in screen saver mode, first press {ih} to turn the display on again.

Question What kind of power outlet should I connect the AC adaptor to? Why is w flashing? Cause & solution L Connect the AC adaptor to a 220240 V outlet.
L The handset is too far from the base unit. Move closer. L The AC adaptor is not connected. Check the connections. L You are using the handset or base unit in an area with high electrical interference. Place the handset and base unit away from interference sources, such as antennas and mobile phones. L The handset is not registered to the base unit. Register it. Question How long is the battery operating time?
Cause & solution L When you are using fully-charged Ni-MH batteries (included batteries); In continuous use: 15 hours max. In continuous standby mode: 240 hours max. It is normal for batteries not to reach full capacity at the initial charge. Maximum battery performance is reached after a few complete cycles of charge/ discharge (use). Actual battery performance depends on a combination of how often the handset is in use and how often it is not in use (standby).
