great zoom range,image stabiliser,manual over-rides on most settings weedy pop-up flash,accessory lens hood a bit of a mixed blessing

FZ5 has been a reliable and satisfying camera for travel and general enthusiast photography. A classic. Very good camera. Easy to use and a lot of features. Big zoom, friendly interface, plenty of settings and effects to keep you amused.

this is camera was defeated in MPix it just 5mpix but the pic quality is so good it help from the wide lens i like this camera too small pict qu... This has been a great camera. My replacement for mountaineering/backpacking after my C2100 UZ1 proved too heavy and bulky. FZ5 is sturdy.

Great entry beginner to advance level camera. Fairly easy to use with enough manual settings to have fun with.

All I can say is wow. Easy to use and the zoom is the best for the money. I own 5 digital camera and this is by far the top of the line.

LITTLE JEWEL THAT SHOOTS SUPERB PICS THIS LITTLE JEWEL MIGHT BE A LITTLE OUT DATED AS FAR AS PIXELS GO BUT THE LENS IS WHAT COUNTS AND THIS LITTLE BAB... Over 3 years now, and still works like it did out of the box. I have owned this camera for 3 years now. Great while it lasted! I purchased this camera in March 2005 and within a month had to return it for repair. Owned for 1 1/2 years..love it! This is my quick review: 1. Per usual, spent 2 weeks pouring over the specs.

For a mid range price this camera is good. If your fine with auto focus only, and dont mind a little more bulk than a traditional point and shoot.
