About us:
Ewa-marine the most used underwater camera housing worldwide!
Under water, on the water, in the desert or in the rain. with ewa-marine your camera can be right there with you ! ewa-marine has been manufacturing under water housings since 1970, to fit nearly every film-, video-, and stills photo camera on the market! All ewa-marine housings are made in our factory in Germany and all models have an hardened, optical glass front port. Founded 1947 near Munich, Germany, our company has a long history of producing accessories for photo and film-cameras. In 1970, nearly 30 years ago, we invented and started manufacturing flexible protective housings and capes for photo-, film and since 1980 also for video cameras. We have a world wide reputation for high quality products and everything bearing the ewa-marine name is quality "made in Germany". All products are developed and then hand made in our factory In Geretsried, Bavaria. Each unit is subjected to a series of stringent tests before leaving the factory. The range of ewa-marine flexible housings offers solutions for most photo- (conventional and digital), film- and video-cameras available today (and in the past). We can offer you a product to suit your camera, whether its a simple digital snap shot camera or a high cost SLR photo or even a TV-camera. Our present range covers the following products: * * * * * * * video-camcorders SLR-cameras compact-cameras film- and TV-cameras mobile phones VFH- and UHF -radios documents, maps etc.
The flexible housings are 100% water proof and designed to cope with water (including salt or sea water) Sand, dust and other nasty conditions, while allowing you to safely operate the equipment at the same time. The range of ewa-marine capes (or as they are sometimes called: hurricane hoods) and the under water housings provide the solution to protect your valuable equipment in all sorts of nasty weather conditions. And as a bonus, the housings combined with your very own camera allow you to explore the fascinating and colourful underwater world, because they are fully submergible and absolutely watertight.

The V1000 is for cameras like the Sony VX700, VX1000 and similar! You also can use the Panasonic AG-DVX100 if you use a CA72 adapter additional! Silica gel and foam padding included.
For the V2000 we recommend cameras like the Sony VX2000, VX2100, PD150 and PD170! Silica gel and foam padding included. Also step up ring RA58-62 and CA62 adapter.
Universal underwaterhousing. Silica gel and foam padding included. Also step up ring RA37-52 and CA52 adapter.
The VSD is a ewa-marine underwaterhousing for the Panasonic SDR-100, the Sanyo Xacti Series and similar. Silica gel and step up ring RA37-52 included.
The VLA is for cameras without any view finder. So the special on the VLA (and VSD) housing is that you can work with the open display underwater. We recommend the VLA for the Panasonic HDC-SD9, HDC-HS9, Canon HF10, JVC GZ-HD6 ans similar cameras. Silica gel, several adapters and foam padding included.
For the VFX we recommend cameras like the Sony HDV-FX1, HDV-FX1000, HVR-Z1, HVR-Z5 and similar. Silica gel and foam padding included. Also CA72 adapter.
For the VF7 we recommend the cameras Sony HDV-FX7 and HVR-V1. Step up ring RA62-67, CA72 adapter, silica gel and foam padding included.

We developed this housing for the Canon XH-G1 and Canon XH-A1. CA72 adapter, silica gel and foam padding included.
We developed this housing for the Canon XM2 and Canon GL2. It`s the follower from the VXM. Adapters, silica gel and foam padding included.
We specially made this housing for the Panasonic AG-HVX 200. The adaper (CA82), silica gel and foam padding included.
The VEX1 was especially deverloped for the Sony PMW-EX1 XDCAM! You can open the display from your EX1 In your hosing! CA77 adapter, silica gel and foam padding included.
We developed this housing for the Canon XL2 (MiniDV) and Canon H1 (HDV). Adapters, silica gel and foam padding included.
We`ve two different models for ENG shoulder cameras. The TV184 and TV182.In the TV184 you can use camera system from 660 to 730 mm length and in the TV182 from 540 to 650 mm length. So it just depends on your camera system what total length you use! Serveral adapters and silica gel included! The TV housings are only for up to 5m depth!

A-Mini

We also can offer you housings for cinematics cameras. For the Aaton Minima we recommend the A-Mini. For the ARRI 16SR with the MK2 10-100mm we recommened the AM16.

Accessory

CA Adapter

The CA adapter you need to fix your camera with the housing. You only can use this system if the front glass has a filter diameter from 75mm or bigger. We`ve different sizes. From 49 mm up to 82 mm.

Step-up ring

With step up rings you fix your lens with the CA adapter system. With smaller front glasses you also can just use the step-up ring to fix your camera. Different rings are available from 25 mm up to 82 mm.
To absorb the condansate in the underwater housing. Camera dry CD5 One CD5 includes 5 sachets of indicator silica gel.
Weight for some video housings. The BV2 is a pair. Each lead has 750 gram. You can mount it outside the housing or use it inside! Just applay the weights under your camera in the housing.
The BS7 is a textile bag in which lead pelleted included. You can use it only inside the housing. The BS7 is a 700 gram soft lead.

Cable-exit
We can mount on all our video housings a extra cable exit. You can take maximum four cables up to 3 to 4 mm diameter out.
