Novo Nordisk draws attention to treatment of diabetes
Germany: At the European Association for the Study of Diabetes annual meeting in Munich, EASD 2004, Novo Nordisk used large screen technology to draw attention to new treatments for the fast growing health problem of diabetes.
On top of their exhibition stand, one of the worlds leading companies within Diabetes care, Danish Novo Nordisk, had placed two rows of dnp New Wide Angle Screens, providing a display area of nearly 2 x 7 metres on each side. The multimedia presentation on the displays could be seen from practically all locations of the venue and made the Novo Nordisk stand one of the exhibitions main attractions. The concept and system design was developed by Danish AV consultants STRUWE. AV Consulting and staged in co-
operation with Creative Technology of Germany. Hans Struwe comments: The ambient light conditions in the conference centre were extremely difficult. In fact, the stand was bathed in direct sunlight. Novo Nordisk is a company that only settles for the best, so fortunately we could go for the ultimate solution: dnp optical rear projection screens matched with double-stacked projectors providing 10,000 Lumens per display.
1.+ 2. The projectors were hidden inside the installation, offering a
multimedia presentation visible from practically all locations of the venue.
The quality of the AV solution was really impressive. It certainly caught people's attention and helped us generate many new leads and contacts. Exhibitions are important to us, and we spend quite a lot of time and effort on them. So we believe it is worth going the extra mile using eye-catching audio-visuals, says Thomas Holbaek, International Project Manager at Novo Nordisk.
