S-VIDEO DISTRIBUTION AMP SVDA10
The GEKCO Video Distribution Amplifier Model SVDA10. The SVDA10 is a 1 input 4 output low cost high performance, DA for general S-video distribution applications. The Y and C gain is adjustable plus or minus 3 db from the front panel. This unit can distribute the output of a VCR or other S-Video source to Switchers, Routers, Monitors and other VCRs while maintaining excellent picture quality. The SVDA10 is shipped ready to use. The proper Wall transformer is supplied. Simply connect your source to the SVDA10 Input and connect the outputs as needed. Under most circumstances no adjustment is needed. The unit is shipped with gain set for unity. A 1Vp-p input will produce 4 1Vp-p outputs. However if your input level is low or the outputs are driving long (>200 ft.) cables, the Y and C gain may need to be adjusted. The SVDA10 has separate gain adjustments for outputs 1 & 2 and 3 & 4. A optional equalizing DA, the SEQDA10 is available. This unit provides equalization to up to 1000 ft of RG59U cable. The same separate adjustments apply. A 12VDC supply option is also available. Recordings are made in May 2005 and Mars, April 2007. They are from streams and small rivers around the enrich Rda Steri and Solsten/Wendelsberg in Mlnlycke. Mostly Recorded on a portable Sony TCD-D8 (DAT) at 48KHz (16Bit) and monitored by Sennheiser HD565 Ovation and Sennheiser HD 265 Linear. The mics used were a pair of Rde NT3. All interconnects were Gotham Cable and Neutrik. The recordings were then transfered to a computer workstation with a Technics SV-DA10 (DAT) and E-MU APS and later edited in WaveLab 4, everything in 16Bit 48KHz Stereo. A TDK 120 DAT TAPE (DA-RXG) were used. The Sony DAT WALKMAN (TCD-D8) settings were: Unbalanced, SP Mode 48KHz, Using Mic In, Sensitivity High, Rec Mode Manual. These Samples are owned by Retro Sampling. These Samples are licensed to you as a user (paying) to use in commercial or noncommercial use. The disc with samples may not be rent or copied to any third party user on any format or disc including internet. If a studio owns licensed samples they may let it's rental users use the samples for commercial production. Everything else is forbidden.
