7675 I am a bit tired, so I will now shut down the primary Vista computer, and I will to bed soon. There use to be a waiter at the Darien, Connecticut shopping center restaurant from Venezuela named Wilson Reed, and as I recall Taylor Sterling's roommate was from Venezuela, and Fred knew Alex Kruger who was raised on the Rockefeller ranch in Venezuela, and Steve Shook a Taft School class of 1968 from Venezuela, and as I recall during my last days at Lake Forest College www.lfc.edu , a very Nordic looking fellow showed up on campus in the spring of 1972 when I returned from Greece and Turkey, and he was from Venezuela. Also the last time I toured the The Frick Collection: , they had a guitar player from Venezuela. Also having lived down in Cayo Heuso, more than likely there might have been somebody there from further down south. However, Juan Carlos I of Spain - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia who is part of the Spanish Royal Family - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia seems to interfere with me trying to network with the Spanish, and the last time I went down south, I ended up networking with someone from Bolton Place just north of Buckingham Palace, since I do not know Spanish. Alas, since my Grandfather Scott had the same look as the former King of Norway that was photographed with President Bush, I might have some Norwegian connection that we lost track of in the Midwest many years ago. Well stay warm, and that is all for this morning. There might be other dignitaries showing up in the Western Hemisphere soon for the upcoming 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games Medals Results Schedule Sports : Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics which I can not afford to attend, because I am just an old duffer with no money and no friends who can not take the cold weather anymore. CIO Note: <888> 01/23/10 Saturday 4:25 A.M. I ordered three 14 ounce Peter Stokkebye Norwegian Blend Pipe Tobacco: American RYO for $72.40 for three and $8.75 shipping for $81.15 total. I contacted the http://ukinusa.fco.gov.uk/ British Embassy in Washington D.C. via telephone, and their security guard answered, so there is still somebody working their at nights. Their telephone number is 1-202-588-6500, and at closing hours at night press 0 to get the Security Guard whom really should not be bothered unless, it is an emergency. Also, since I use to have British friends, I try to network with them, but they tend to only pay attention to their own people anymore, since they do not like dealing with the Italian group out in Greenwich, Connecticut whom tend to be very Italian Mafioso.

There are two big steel containers on the north end of the building that contain the new double pane windows for the building. I guess once it warms up, they will install them. I hope they do not plan to install them during the winter. They were not sure if they could do my apartment, since they thought the roof above might collapse, if they took out the four large windows to

7742 And low and behold, I found an older model like new white Krups espresso cappuccino machine with all of its accessories, so I put that out on the left kitchen counter by the coffee grinders to have available to make single cups of coffee. As I always said, one's own best thrift shop is one's apartment or house. I bought the white Krups machine for about $5 half price a few years ago at the old Greenwich Hospital thrift shop. The new Greenwich Hospital thrift shop no longer carries electronics, so old electronics must be ending up elsewhere in the area, possibly the Salvation Army store in Port Chester, New York. Who knows? I still have the like new black Braun coffee maker in the kitchen, but I never make that much coffee. CIO Note: <888> 02/25/10 Thursday 5:55 P.M. The work is scheduled at night and will affect travel from Tuesday, March 2, 2010 through Thursday, March 4, 2010, weather permitting. Motorists can expect I-95 north and southbound to be reduced to one lane from 11pm to 6 am. Best regards, Lile Gibbons

7771 I finished my walk, I sat out for a while, and I then used the bathroom at the senior and the arts center which opens later on Sundays. I then drove down by the World Famous waterfront on Steamboat Road, and I viewed the scenic Vista of Long Island Sound in all of its winter glory. Actually, I probably could have put more gasoline in the tank, but I think there is something wrong with the pump on the east side of the station, since it continually cut off. I then went by the Stop and Shop, and I ate a guacamole and taco chip and two chicken nuggets with barbeque sauce which were out for sampling. I bought four yesterday muffins for $2 all, a cab top round London Broil for $3.99 a pound for $5.47 and fresh Chiquita bananas for.69 a pound for $1.93 for $9.40 total. I then returned home to Greenwich, Scottsdale. CIO Note: <888> 02/07/10 Sunday 9:10 A.M. I ate the same dinner as yesterday. 7774 doing maintenance at the White House http://mikelouisscott.com/mlsdc.jpg , so I got to see some of the formal sitting rooms. I liked the big old gold Steinway piano in the lobby. The Van Buren room caught my eye, since in the old days, people were smaller, so the furniture looked very delicate like only tiny people could sit in it. It sort of reminded me of an elderly lady's well maintained house suitable for tea parties and chamber music events. CIO Note: <888> 02/06/10 Saturday 8:00 A.M. I threw out the garbage. No snow flurries yet. Nobody moving around in the building yet. Of course, if one were in North American Aerospace Defense Command, one could probably hitch a ride to the Winter Olympics, but you would have to be able to prove it, if you get my drift, and not be any sort of pretend Hollywood Actor type. Having lived around NORAD when I was in Florida Keys, when they would come down from Homestead Air Force base on weekends, I have a bit of first hand experience to know they are a rather formidable professional group. In the old days, NORAD personnel were required to carry side arms at all times, and to be on alert status in case called into action. From what I know now, today they spend a lot of time looking at computers, and are sort of totally oblivious to the outside world. Of course, if I really were in the www.af.mil or the Canada's Air Force / Bienvenue la Force arienne du Canada, they could also move my whole apartments contents any where in the world, but alas I am just a civilian that reads civilian news about the military, and from what I know which is not too much, the guy that looked like Tom Watson in Key West, Florida might have been Charles Lindbergh Charles Lindbergh - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia a retired U.S. Air Force Four Star General if you get my drift. CIO Note: <888> 02/06/10 Saturday 7:05 A.M. If one were thinking about attending the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games Medals Results Schedule Sports : Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics , one could probably fly Air Canada: Flights, Airline Tickets, Airfare Deals, Car Rental, Hotels & Vacations. I still have my Air Canada flight bag that somebody that looked like Tony Snowden gave me in Toronto, Canada in December 1983. Of course, one would need a U.S. Passport to enter and return from Canada, and if one had another passport from some other country, you would probably need a Canadian Visa. All of that can take time. Richard Van Marter | Real Estate Agent once told me he knew Hilary Clinton's interior decorator U.S. Department of State , but he does not return his telephone calls anymore, so that probably would not work to expedite matters. If one had the proper documents, and one knew His Highness the Aga Khan's 73rd Birthday - Mowlana Hazar Imam's 73rd Birthday - December 13, 2009 , one might get a free ride on his private Canadian Bombardier Inc. jet, but since he is legally a Swiss Citizen, you would probably need a Swiss passport and a Canadian Visa.

7775 One probably could not take the train, since I do not think the trains run across Canada in the winter, but you probably could take Amtrak www.amtrak.com across country in the United States and travel up the west coast of the Unites States. If one were a Road Warrior with the proper documents, one might try driving the direct route across the northern United States on Interstate 90 West, but that could be hazardous this time of year in the far north country, except for maybe a trucker with a big truck. Another safer longer way would be try drive from Greenwich, Connecticut to Jacksonville, Florida on Interstate 95 South for 15 hours and 22 minutes or 972 miles, and the on Interstate 10 West from Jacksonville, Florida to San Diego, California or 36 hours and 2,341 miles, and then from San Diego, California to Victoria, British Columbia 22 hours and 31 minutes or 1,351 miles for a total of 63 hours and 53 minutes and 4,664 miles from Greenwich, Connecticut to Victoria British Columbia the long way around versus the direct route through the cold mountainous north country of 2 days and one hour or 2,996 miles. Of course either way, one could stop by Redmond, Washington nearby to see how simply the Microsoft www.microsoft.com computer people live, and wish you had known someone from The Boeing Company. One of the windows on the west side of the building is broken. I chatted with some neighbors. I chatted with a relative. I chatted with a friend. I chatted with an out of town security agency. Basically from what I know the REAL SECURITY PROBLEM in this area is that the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant was built around 1974 and 1976 Indian Point Energy Center - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and Indianpoint Website, so since it was built to last 25 years, it technically could present a security problem if there are any malfunctions in its operations. They suggested that I chat with my social worker about getting someone to help me when the time comes. Basically I guess I could just more the items off the window shelves and take down the curtains and the

7791 East Side area, since with Grand Central station there were more people from Connecticut and Westchester Counties. However that area is a lot more expensive. Since I knew people with their own apartments, I had people I could visit with and meet their friends. On VIP days in Midtown, there would be a lot more security and more people. It was sort of hard to figure out whom actually lived there, and whom actually was visiting. Since the east side of Midtown is near Queens, one would also see a lot of people from Queens. Generally when one mentioned one that they were from Connecticut, it was assumed one lived way out in the country. New Yorkers tend not to listen to people or understand. When I used to drive into Manhattan at night when it was cheaper to park, it would frequently take less than a half hour to get there. Of course, one had to move their car by rush hour in the daytime. I also took the train frequently, but that was like riding a crowded subway car which I also did frequently. I learned traveling the City buses although slower was much more of an enjoyable trip, and one could see all of the sights above ground. Ever in the early morning hours, the buses run all night, if you do not mind waiting a while for a bus on a cold winter's night. Since the country was in a recession in the period that I lived in Manhattan, nobody was too interested in Wall Street or business. However, there were always people still going to Manhattan trying to make ends meet. I knew quite a few people whom were established outside of the New York City area, so they could afford to live there part of the time. I noticed over time, that although I was going into Manhattan, a lot of the people back out in Greenwich, Connecticut did not always like the people that were showing up here on the reverse trip. However, I figured it would be good for business out here in Greenwich, Connecticut. Most Manhattan people do not watch television, since they have so many other activities to pursue. Still having lived back in Greenwich, Connecticut since December 1983, when I spent the previous two weeks in Manhattan homeless living out of the East Side airline terminal, I figure I am better out here that walking around in circles in Manhattan. One roommate tried to get me to work at the Scandia ski shop on West 57th Street across the street from the Royal Bank of Scotland, but since although I might look Scandinavian, I do not know much about skiing. Since I live about 7 miles south of www.ibm.com in nearby Armonk, New York to the north of me, I figure there are a lot of computer people around me, and they are just more specialized, so they are not too chatty or too outgoing about computers which frequently bores non computer people particular financial types. I was able to leverage the sofa out into the hallway. I chatted with a neighbor. I threw away the cushions and the slip covers. I paid a neighbor $20 to help me move the sofa down the back stairway and out by the dumpster. I took out the oak leaf from the FIC server, and I put in one of the white shelves. I put in a white shelf last night on the primary Vista computer, so both oak leaves were available. I vacuumed along the windows where the sofa had been. I moved some chairs and other items into the hallway. I moved the oak dining table underneath the windows against the wall, and I put in both oak leaves, so the table is 76 inches long. I put the primary Dell Latitude D410 laptop on the left side of the oak table, and I put the Epox computer on the right side. I set up their accessories. I threw out the Epson Stylus Color 880 printer, and I put the Minolta Laser 1350 on top of the FIC server. I chatted with a relative. I put the lazy Susan on the oak table. I set up one eating place, and if the wireless keyboard is moved on the Epox computer, there is a second eating place. I put the oak keyboard drawer underneath bedroom Abit computer. I moved the two Afghans to the end of the bed. I threw out the sofa pillows. I threw out the wooden cassette cases. I moved the throw rugs a little bit, and I vacuumed the apartment. I put the recliner on an angle in front of the entry door facing the television, and I have the Harvard chair opposite it. I put the small mahogany table on the right side of the Harvard chair with telephones on it. I moved one small brass and glass table to the left side of the recliner, and I put remote controls and magazines on it. I finished vacuuming. I chatted with a friend. I put items that I had put out in the hallway back in the apartment including three chairs around the oak dining table. I moved the antenna for the shortwave radio, so it is now setup on the small white bookcase at the kitchen entrance. I have the Samsung color laser printer on the far left corner on the oak dining table, and I still have to find a longer USB cable to connect it to the primary Vista computer. The power strip for the Dell Latitude D410 laptop is on the far right of the white shelf of the FIC server. I took of the burgundy throw off the French reproduction chair, and I stored it on the closet, so the white quilted throw with sheep skin in now on it. I ate two hot dogs on buns with ketchup and mustard and 1/4th of a 6.3 ounce tube of Pringle salt and vinegar potato chips and a dill pickle slice, and watered down punch. I will now shower and clean up. CIO Note: <888> 03/26/10 Friday 10:25 P.M. I ate two hot dogs on buns with ketchup and mustard and 1/4th of a 6.3 ounce tube of Pringle salt and vinegar potato chips and a dill pickle slice, and watered down punch. I made up a fresh batch of punch. I threw out the garbage. I will now shut down the primary Vista computer, and I will go to bed soon. Mostly sunny tomorrow and 32 to 42 degrees Fahrenheit. CIO Note: <888> 03/26/10 Friday 9:20 P.M. I chatted with a relative and two friends. The sofa is 96 inches long, so it will not fit in the elevator. I might try to do the furniture move tomorrow, if I am up early enough. I think I can take the slip covers and cushions off the sofa, and once I am able to get it out of the apartment, I can drag it down the back stairway to the dumpster area which is close by. If I can not do it, I have a friend than can help me

I ate two hot dogs on buns with ketchup and mustard and 1/4th of a 6.3 ounce tube of Pringle salt and vinegar potato chips and a dill pickle slice, and watered down punch. CIO Note: <888> 03/24/10 Wednesday 8:00 P.M. I went out after the last note. I parked in front of the park in front of the Ferrari dealership, and I walked over to the new Greenwich Hardware store next to www.mcdonalds.com. I tried to get a four prong energy saving light bulb, but they did not have them there. They are mostly rental equipment for people with real estate that needs to be maintained. I went by the Greenwich Hardware store downtown, and they sold me the four prong energy saving light bulb for $5. I then went downtown, and I walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue and the train station area. I cleaned up some newspaper fliers in front of the senior and the arts center before my walk. On the way up Greenwich Avenue, I stopped by there again, and I found the two different parts for the smoker's post that had been misplaced in two different locations, and I put it together by the right side of the building entrance. I used the bathroom there. On the way up Greenwich Avenue, I browsed the sales brochure at CVS. I stopped by the Chase Bank on West Putnam Avenue just west of Greenwich Avenue. After my walk, I sat out for a while, and I used the bathroom at the senior and the arts center again. Before I went out today, I noticed all of the phonograph records that I had put by the dumpster were gone. After my walk, I returned home. I found a blue heavy nylon chair by the dumpster that I put in my Audi trunk with the other folding nylon chairs. It is heavy duty for a fat person. I tried the energy saving light bulb in the second of the two energy saving lamps in the bedroom, but the lamp was defective, so I threw it away. I thus have two of the four prong spare energy saving light bulbs for the one still remaining in the bedroom. I saved the lamp shade from the defective one. I also picked up my mail on the way upstairs. I took down the Lindbergh print, and I put it back in the bedroom window, and I hung the Picasso print from the living room on the bedroom wall above the sideboard bookcase. I put one of the two yellow pineapple lamps on the sideboard bookcase, and it turns on with the light switch at the bedroom entrance along with a few other lights. Earlier today, I threw out all of the sales receipts that I had saved in my file cabinet, and I put in the laser printer receipts in the upper file cabinet from the paper holder stack on the mahogany bureau. I moved the Audi to its usual location. I chatted with a relative. CIO Note: <888> 03/24/10 Wednesday 3:20 P.M. I woke up at 8 A.M. this morning. I ate breakfast of oatmeal with honey and milk and a sliced banana, a toasted English muffin with Smart Balance spread, a 50% to 50% mixture of fruit juice punch and cold filtered water, and a cup of coffee with truvia and milk. I washed the breakfast dishes. I made my bed. I showered, and I cleaned up. I straightened up the bedroom area today. I threw out all of my phonograph records about 150 of them. I left them by the dumpster, and people have been taking them. I threw out the small appliances that I had on the left living room closet shelf. They included a Krups steamer, a Welbilt bread machine, a juicer, a blender, and a pasta machine with

Back in the winter of 1968, when my family had moved to Wellesley, Massachusetts; so my father could work at Polaroid. I drove down to Princeton University www.princeton.edu to visit with friends at the Intercollegiate Prep School ice hockey tournament. I drove down in the relatively new 1966 Mustang convertible that the kids in my family used. I put in the back seat a 9 inch Sony television hooked up the cigarette lighter. While I was at a party down there at the Cottage Club with some friends, I went out to the Mustang to watch a golf tournament that was on television. Some friends were amused that I had a television in the car. One of their girl friends surveyed the scene, and said "How Noveau Riche". I got to thinking about it, in that the Old Guard do not splash their life around with modern trappings, so ever since then I have been maintaining a more low key Old Guard approach to life, so people do not think I am Noveau Riche. Alas with all of the computers in my apartment http://mikelouisscott.com/computer.htm , I might still look Noveau Riche; but I have managed to down size from our Polaroid days, so I have a simpler approach to life. I noticed somebody driving a red Mercedes 280SL downtown yesterday. They had one of those old orange and blue New York license plates that was "AC". I wandered if it was Anderson Cooper, but it did not look like him. I have noticed at the Greenwich Automotive Services Gulf Station, I think they still another Mercedes 280SL for sale at their location. I will now make up a fresh batch of punch. A relative is visiting Amsterdam in the Netherlands before going on a barge cruise of the Netherland's canals. I called up the Stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam (SAS). Luxury Hotel in Amsterdam, Netherlands - Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts yesterday with Skype for 2 cents a minute, and I chatted with the relative. I also chatted with a desk clerk at the Marriot Renaissance in Amsterdam Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel The Netherlands -Hotel accommodation in Amsterdam trying to find the relative. I was told by the desk clerk, it was the worst winter in the Netherlands in 50 years, and the tulips are not out yet. I did see a news report this winter that it was so cold in Amsterdam that all of the canals froze, and they were ice skating on the canals for the first time in a long time. Thus my relative might miss the tulips. I have only been in Amsterdam for three days back in February 1992 http://mikelouisscott.com/mls-nl.jpg before the Albertville, France Winter Olympics, and as I recall I stayed next to the Home-Heineken.nl brewery, and I even drank some Heineken while I was there. The Dutch are some of the largest people on the world, and they even sell Heineken in hall gallon bottles there to quench the thirst of the larger people there. Alas although I did walk around downtown Amsterdam quite a bit, in three days one can only do so much. It was nice seeing a lot of people that looked like distant relatives. However, a great many Dutch people seem to know English, but when I chatted with them, they did not seem to know anything about New Amsterdam in the old days. However, they seem to be very much aware of Java and Indonesia from the Dutch East Indies Company. They are also aware about Argentina, since a great deal of their beef comes from Argentina. I went to about a half dozen computer stores, before personal computers were that popular. I even saw a Bill Gates look alike at one of their local pubs. In February 1992, there was no snow or ice, so there were a lot of Dutch people going about their local business. They had a pedestrian street that runs about two miles west from the Palace towards the University district which is near the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam - Museum of Art and History with all of the Rembrandt paintings which I visited. As I recall in the 15th century economic recession in the Netherlands, the Dutch used tulip bulbs for money, and some of them were quite valuable. Since I am half Dutch, since my mother is 100% Dutch American, I think I have inherited some of the Dutch creativity, but alas there seem to be so few Dutch people around anymore, I do not get much chance to communicate with them anymore. Still it is cheerful for me to have another relative visiting the Netherlands to let them know we are still surviving in America, less they forget about us. I guess if I could ever afford to visit New Amsterdam about 20 miles west of me, I might see more Dutch people in this area. However, I was told by a part time resident in this area that was related to Queen Beatrice The Dutch Royal House that the Dutch now like visiting Florida
