Message from Compliance Administrator
The main activity of Panasonic AVC Networks Czech s.r.o. in BY 2009 was to reduce consumption of all kinds of energy. Total reduction of CO2 emissions was achieved for 128% in comparison of plan. We also received Superior Clean Factory Certification from CEAD because we achieved 3year period of 100% environmental fulfillment in excellent way. We are the only one factory in Europe with this title. Our factory will continue in enviromental effort to reduce production impact for Environment as a whole.

TX-P42X10E We produce PDP TV sets in 8 dimensions 37, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, 65, 103 inches.The best sellers belong to model TX-P42X10E. We compared power consumption with previous model TH-42PX80E. Old model have had consumption 255W, current model have consumption 245W.
TX-L32X10E We produce LCD TV sets in 4 dimensions 26, 32, 37 and 42 inches. The best sellers belong to model TX-L32X10E. We compared power consumptions with previous model TX-32LXD80B. Old model have had consumption 130W, current model have consumption 114W.

For Energy and CO2 limits you can see that energy consumption is going rapidly down even if production was little bit increased. We filled our target for 128%.Water consumption is going down by reduction of people and by projects for water saving.Recycling ratio is going up and we fulfilled the BY target by tremendous effort of PAVCCZ employes and our waste company.We found new output for some small plastic material. Chemicals reduction result was much more better thanks to new project which recycle isopropanol for production in very high level.

Environmental Communication Cooperation with Secondary Eco School
Students from Secondary Ecological school in Splen Po twice a year visit our factory - environmental section. They receive complete survey about clean factory, environmental law compliance, RoHS and REACH directives, etc. Their school knowledge is at the moment faced to real factory performance
Liquidation of illegal dumps
PAVCCZ established effective cooperation with 3rd Municipal Office of Town Pilsen in the frame of csr/eco project liquidation of illegal waste dumps and revitalization of public areas and parks. This project is very successful, this year 32,91 tons of various waste were liquidated from March to August. There were cleaned away waste from 52 streets with 50 points for sorted waste.
Emergency preparedness and response

About our concept and environmental training Our environmental department has the educational plan to improve special knowledge of each member in relevant environmental area. We also organize regular trainings for our group ecologists and in cooperation with other departments we ensure trainings for people handling with chemical substances and preparations in their department. For new employees we also prepared a short overview called "Basic Environmental Rules". There are 10 environmental rules that new employees by their signature promise to keep.
Basic Environmental Rules
I hereby confirm that I read and will keep following rules: 1. All employees of PAVCCZ are responsible to sort waste into relevant containers. 2. Employees of PAVCCZ are not allowed to throw waste into outside containers. 3. Within PAVCCZ company is strictly prohibited to carry out waste and chemical matter outside the company. 4. Within PAVCCZ it is used vast bulk of returnable packaging it is forbidden to mix them up and ruin them. 5. Only trained employee is allowed to handle with chemical matter. 6. All chemical matter must be stored in original or strictly labeled packaging. 7. All chemical matter must be used according to valid instructions and guidelines of relevant department and PAVCCZ company. 8. In case of leak of chemical matter or another emergency condition, the PAVCCZ employee is responsible to contact its superior immediately and follow up the published Emergency rule/cards. 9. PAVCCZ employees are responsible for electricity, heat energy and water savings! 10. Executive director/ Manager is responsible to inform employees with Environmental policy and with the following basic environmental guidelines: 2EM-004 Waste Management internal guideline of environmental department regarding the waste handling 2EM-007 Handling with chemical substances and preparations internal guideline of environmental department regarding the chemical substances/preparations handling 2EM-003 Emergency rule internal emergency guideline of environmental department Emergency rule and Emergency cards All above mentioned guidelines are available on: I/Factory/ISO14001/Procedure.
