ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS BID SPECIFICATIONS
The color mini CCTV monitor shall be a Panasonic Model WV-CM143 or equivalent. The color monitor shall have a 14" diagonal screen with horizontal resolution of 370 lines. Up to 4 cameras shall be able to be connected and sequenced to the monitor. Unconnected channels shall be skipped automatically. It shall be possible to continue to add cameras in groups of 3 (up to 6) using optional WV-AD110A camera extension units. The monitor shall have a built-in sequential switcher with adjustable dwell time of between 1 and 30 sec. with camera number display. The unit shall feature alarm inputs for each camera with audible warning. The alarm time shall be adjustable from 1 to 60 sec. The Mini CCTV Sequential Switching System Monitor shall feature a user-friendly on-screen menu for feature setup. The unit shall feature a standby mode when the entire system is inactive until an alarm or intercom signal is triggered, and an auto reset switch to recover normal sequential switching within 60 sec. after an alarm or intercom signal is triggered. The auto reset feature shall be selectable on the system menu. The monitor shall provide video output to an additional monitor or recorder and video input from a time-lapse VCR. The unit shall connect to the Panasonic Mini CCTV cameras with VD2 type sync (WV-CF20, WV-CL110, WV-CL120, WV-80, WV-BL90A, WV-BP122) and accept video, audio, sync and power up a single coaxial cable, Belden 9259 or equivalent. Front controls shall include power switch, tint, color, brightness, contrast, camera input select, number switch, camera select and sequence switch. Rear controls shall be focus, screen, alarm control, mode, recover and remote output. The power source shall be 120VAC, 60Hz. The monitor shall be UL listed.
The camera extension unit shall be a Panasonic Model WV-AD110A or equivalent. The unit shall be compatible with Panasonic video monitor WV-CM143, to extend its use to include 3 more mini CCTV cameras. The unit shall include a push-button type camera selector switch, for manually selecting a camera view. The unit shall be capable of automatic, sequential switching of camera pictures, and shall automatically bypass a camera when DC power for it is not detected. The units input shall support three 1.0V p-p/75 ohm composite video signals via BNC connector. Connection with the cameras shall be via coaxial cable type RG-59/U, maximum length 660', with DC resistance of less than 30 ohms per 1000', or via coaxial cable type RG-6/U, maximum length 1650', with DC resistance of less than 12 ohms per 1000'. The unit shall include a 12-pin connector, so it can be connected with another camera extension unit, adding three more cameras. The power source shall be 120VAC, 60Hz and power consumption approximately 33W. Ambient operating temperature shall be 14-122F. The units weight shall not exceed 6.2 lbs. and its dimensions shall not exceed 3"(H) x 1014"(W) x 1234" (D).
