WV-CS850 Series

The Panasonic WV-CS850 series are the next generation in unitized colour dome cameras. This all-in-one unit with a 1/4-type colour CCD camera, 22x zoom lens, and rotating chassis is packed inside a sleek 110mm diameter of dome size that fits discretely into almost any location. Our newly developed Super Dynamic II capabilities give the WV-CS850 series a dynamic range 80 times that of conventional cameras. With the ability to deliver fullcolour images in light as low as 1lx and black and white images in ultra low light conditions with only 0.06lx, it's the ideal camera for 24-hour surveillance. No subject can easily escape its full 360 horizontal rotation, 180 vertical pan, and 300/second speed. Physical contact-free and optical video signal transfer type SLIP RING system provides noiseless imaging. New Privacy Zone Masking and Patrol Learn features equip the WV-CS850 series to go beyond standard surveillance techniques. Instructions for installation

Thank you for purchasing the WV -CS850 / 54EX to house the Panasonic WV-CS850 / 54 unitised dome. It should provide many years of service if installed and maintained according to these instructions. Receipt of Product It is important that immediately after receipt of this product you inspect it and report any defects within 7 days. No claims for damaged goods can be processed after that period. Please report in writing any discrepancies within 7 days of receipt to Panasonic CCVE, Panasonic House, Willoughby Rd, Bracknell, Berks RG12 8FP. You should have received a box containing 1 WV-CS850 / 54EX enclosure semi-assembled. Cut through diagram 6. Connect the heater on the tripod to the two flying leads on the short wiring loom using the push fit connectors. 7. Attach tripod (TC1) to top cover (TP1) using 3 M5 x 12 pozi screws and 3 M5 spring washers taking care not to over tighten them, only screw up and nip to finish. 8. Attach the main body of the Panasonic dome to tripod (TC1) in the normal quarter turn fashion and secure it with its own security fastener. 9. Connect all remaining connectors to matching connectors on short wiring loom and push loose cable up above tripod. 10. Fit small dome seal (DS-B129) to the WV-CS850 / 54 acrylic dome. It should sit flat on the rim. 11. Fit bottom cover (BP2) by lining up rear gutter with Ushape cut-out in top cover and secure with the 6 M5 x 20 security screws taking care not to over tighten. You should screw them up in a cross method as you would a car wheel. Only screw them up until the screw stops of its own accord. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN AND DO NOT USE ANY SCREWS OTHER THAN SUPPLIED.
Assembling the Panasonic WV -CS850 / 54 dome into the WV-CS850 / 54EX enclosure Tools required: - Allen key for M4 screws - Pliers and crimps 1. Install the 2.5 metre wiring loom (FN0175-1) into the bracket and connect to isolation box (not supplied). 2. Detach tripod chassis (TC1) from inside top cover (TP1) by unscrewing the 3 x M5 pozi screws using a pozi driver. 3. Securely attach main top cover (TP1) to bracket ensuring that the rear drain is lined up with the bracket at the back and connect short wiring loom (FN0172-1). 4. Shorten mains cable on the Panasonic dome to approx 15cm and attach the MOLEX connector (FN0178-1) to it. 5. Attach the Panasonic dome base to the internal tripod chassis (TC1) using the 4 M4 screws already fitted.
Important: If assembled in cold conditions you may experience a small amount of misting up. This will cure itself after a couple of days.
Warranty: The functionality of this product is not warranted if fitted on a non Charles Grant bracket. We do not accept any liability for damages occurred through incorrect installation or the use of other materials than supplied, or the use of non Charles Grant brackets. Charles Grant brackets for the WV -CS850EX and WV-CS854EX enclosure are available from Panasonic CCVE only.
