Parrot launches the new 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS at CeBIT
Upgraded hands-free car kit includes latest generation of DSP technology and removable colour screen
CeBIT (Hanover), March 15th 2007 Parrot, one of the global leaders in wireless mobile phone peripherals, today launched the new upgraded version of its Bluetooth colour-screen car-kit, the Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS.
The Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS is an installed hands-free car kit with a large bright colour TFT screen. The kit automatically synchronises with your mobile phones phonebook, with the full colour screen immediately displaying the contacts name, phone number, and even caller ID photos when you have an incoming call.
The new Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS now includes Parrots latest innovations in DSP (Digital Signal Processing) for exceptional in-car sound quality and a detachable screen for total security at all times.
Using Parrots Beamforming technology, the system includes a double-microphone which identifies background noises to eliminate them more efficiently and isolate the drivers voice, similar to a human ear. The result gives you crystal-clear conversations transmitted directly onto the car speakers. The microphones are totally invisible and are integrated within the kits screen, taking up minimum space on the dashboard.
The customisable and anti-theft removable screen features a high resolution TFT display of 160x128 pixels and 262 x 144 colours. You can choose between a large selection of ring tones and wallpapers - from the kit itself or from the associated mobile phone.
As standard on all Parrot car-kits, the unique voice recognition system of the Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS allows you to forget about your phone and keep focused on the road. You can access various commands simply by using your voice. For example, to pick up a call, just say phone or to place a call simply pronounce your contacts name.
The Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS can be easily installed in most vehicles and is compatible with virtually all Bluetooth mobile phones.

Parrot Launches the New 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS Now with Beamforming Technology for Best-in-Class Audio and Noise Control

installed car kits, has announced the next-generation of its popular 3200 series car kit, the new Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS.
Like its predecessor, the Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS is full-featured, installed car kit with a large bright color TFT screen and full duplex audio. It will pair with up to five phones, store up to 1,000 contacts, and support 150 voice tags for true voice-controlled, hands-free calling. Once paired with a Bluetooth phone, it automatically synchronizes with the cellular phone book and, as a call is made or received, the screen displays the contacts name, phone number, and even their photo if one has been uploaded.
New Technology: Parrot Beamforming Whats new with the Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR Plus is that it now features Parrots latest proprietary innovations digital signal processing (DSP) called Parrot Beamforming for exceptional in-car sound quality a feature originally introduced by Parrot a few months ago on its MK6000 musikit.
Parrots Beamforming utilizes advanced noise and echo cancellation technology in combination with two highly sensitive, directional microphones. The system identifies and compares
background noises to eliminate them more efficiently while isolating the drivers voice. The result is crystal-clear conversations, easily heard by both parties on a call.
New Design Features: No Mic Wires Another unique feature of the Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS is that Parrot has eliminated the external microphones by integrating them in the color display unit. This not only provides a
clean look, but eliminates having to run a microphone wire behind the instrument panel and up the A-pillar.
In addition, the Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR PLUS color TFT display is removable to help prevent theft. The customizable, removable screen features a high resolution TFT display of 160 x 128 pixels and 262,144 colors.
