So you can exchange the insulated comfort of a hardtop coup for the freedom of a wind-in-the-hair cabriolet quicker than the clouds can break. Not having to worry about the weather forecast? Now thats different.
Generous boot space With the roof folded down, the flat, rectangular boot of the 307 CC has a capacity of 204 litres*. Put the car into coup mode and the rear boot shelf retracts, giving you a generous 350 litres* of room to play with.

RT3 Satellite Navigation(1), MP3, radio, telephone and CD autochanger This equipment includes multiple features: an MP3 compatible mono CD player(1), an RDS tuner with 24 presets, an SMS compatible dualband GSM telephone module with SIM card(2) that connects you to all compatible European GSM operators. It features a 16/9 colour display(1) with audio/video input for camcorder, DVD or games console (usable only when the vehicle is parked, for safety reasons). The GPS RT3 radio telephone allows you to connect mobile equipment (MP3 player for example)
via the audio/video input located in the glove box. The RT3(1) also includes a satellite navigation system that will lead you to your destination via the best possible route by means of vocal and visual indications and cartography displayed on a 16/9 colour screen. It is coupled systematically with a front mounted 5 CD loader. Fitted as standard on the 2.0 litre 16v HDi 136 bhp engine, the FAP is a porous structure integrated into the catalytic converter to trap harmful particles of carbon as the exhaust gas passes through it, reducing emissions to barely measurable amounts without affecting performance.

With the 307 CC, beauty makes no concessions to safety. On the contrary. Even in the cabriolet configuration, the 307 CC provides maximum protection for all occupants. With its structurally strengthened suspension, it is well equipped to anticipate and avoid danger and protect you should the need arise.

Active safety

The 307 CC includes as standard: anti-lock braking system (ABS), which prevents the wheels locking during emergency braking, electronic brake force distribution (EBFD), which optimises the vehicles stopping distance by distributing the brake pressure on all four wheels according to vehicle traction and load, emergency brake assist (EBA), which amplifies pressure exerted on the brake pedal when slowing down sharply. ESP (Electronic Stability Program), to control vehicle stability. In addition to the above, it offers: traction control (ASR), which prevents the wheels from skidding on slippery road surfaces, dynamic stability control (DSC), which returns your vehicle to its correct trajectory if the ECU detects any incipient understeer or oversteer.
To ensure optimal protection, the 307 CC is equipped with 4 air bags distributed in the passenger compartment: two adaptive front air bags for driver and passenger (with a deactivate switch on the passenger side to facilitate the fitting of a child safety seat) two front side air bags for enhanced protection of the chest in the event of impact. Structural reinforcements These provide rigidity and protection in the event of an impact, ensuring that the passenger compartment stays as intact as possible for the safety of all occupants. Retractable steering column The architecture of the steering column complies with the most stringent European safety standards. In the event of front impact, retraction of the steering wheel is limited. Isofix mountings The rear seats are equipped with Isofix mountings for the safe and effortless attachment of an Isofix child seat. Disc brakes The braking system of the 307 CC (2 ventilated discs at the front and 2 discs at the rear, combined with ABS and electronic brake force distribution) ensures optimised braking distances. Fasten seat belt indicator If the driver or passenger seat belts are unfastened, a visual and acoustic signal informs the occupants.
