Best camera for a first time DSLR user out of the box. Auto mode setting and features provide very good pictures and allow room for experimentation.

This camera is excellent. Great to handle and super photos. Also easy to use with one hand if I choose. Loved this one, my first digital camera, instant win, lots of features for advanced photographers, easy of use for novice, complete succes.

I bought this camera a few months after breaking my originally and wanted to also at the same time upgrade to something more complicated. Having used and tested Panasonic cameras for quite some time (beginning with their original mega-zoom camera the FZ1 with 12x optical zoom. Since my application is recording videos in a nightclub setting, this is the best camera for the money.

Excellent lens/zoom and picture quality None I started down the road toward a DSLR, which I really wanted, having used Canon SLR Film cameras for many years. Get a 46mm UV filter to protect the beautiful lens Image/lens quality, RAW support, compact size, extensive settings, fast operation, great flash.

Panasonic is not really well known for Digicams but this one is by far the best one I have ever owned! I found myself wanting more from my digital cameras. I previously used a Nikon Coolpix 3000, and this camera is so much better.

Manual drive and electrical lifting Designed for the high-performance handling of normal and wire-mesh pallets, the COMPACT MOUNT high-lift pallet trucks electrically-operated lifting system with control handle makes light work of raising items weighing up to 1.2 tons to a maximum height of 900 mm. HAND WINCHES - GENERAL INFORMATION
Our extensive range of industrially rated hand winches solve lifting problems in most engineering, construction, industrial, marine, hospital, theatre, entertainment and general installations. With over 46 models available, including the lighweight AG for shutters and washing lines, the multi-purpose SG, to the heavy duty WB for theatres, we can supply you with the winch to meet your needs. As well as our standard range, we can supply you with many specials to meet even the most unusual requirements. All our winches are rated on the first rope layer in accordance with DIN standard 15020 Part 1. Details from this standard are shown on page 29 to assist you in the selection of suitable equipment to meet your specific requirements.

Hand Winch Type AG

Lifting capacity 45 Kg or 100 Kg. Hand operated winches designed for use in raising blinds, shutters, clothes lines and chandeliers. The AG has a solid build quality with die-cast construction, corrosion resistant internal parts and powder coated paint finish. Suitable for wall mounting.

HAND WINCH TYPE SW-WBR (KG)

Lifting capacity from 300 Kg to 1.5 t. A range of wall mounted winches with a special controlled lowering facility and adjustable crank radius. Controlled lowering by pushing the handle in the lowering direction allowing the winch to pay out at a controlled speed. A centrifugal dynamic brake is incorporated to control speed and to prevent the operator from losing control of the load. This is enhanced by a load-activated brake, which allows the operator to stop and hold the load securely in any position. The braking system also prevents the winch handle from re-coiling, protecting the operator and the load. Fully enclosed gears make this winch ideal for use in adverse conditions.

Lifting capacity from 250 Kg to 750 Kg These hand operated worm gear winches are of cast iron construction with the gears enclosed in an oil-bath - with automatic lubrication - this ensures smooth operation. NB. Oil not supplied. Suitable for wall mounting. Enclosed construction. Self- locking automatic friction type brake ensuring load and operator safety. A hardened worm shaft gives prolonged operating life. This winch has an adjustable crank radius, which is useful for operation in confined space or for light load speedy cranking.

HAND WINCH TYPE QW

With Free-Wheeling Option
Lifting capacity from 100 Kg to 1.7 t. A range of hand operated spur gear winches suitable for lifting, lowering and pulling applications. To raise a load, simply turn the handle in a clockwise direction. To lower, turn the handle in the opposite direction. The QW winch will only free wheel when unloaded; making it a leader in industrial winch applications. This device can be removed if required. Safe and reliable double-tipped brake pawl. Especially suited for vehicle winch or trailer applications etc.

Lifting capacity 750 Kg and 1.1 t. The CG hand operated worm geared winches are suitable for lifting and pulling applications in exposed environments. Lifting capacities of 0.75 and 1.1 tonnes on first rope layer. Constructed from die-cast aluminium. Sealed gears ensure constant lubrication and quiet operation. The worm wheel is machined from phosphor bronze and the worm shaft is hardened and has an inherent self sustaining feature. The CG also features teflon coated sintered bearings to reduce effort , prolonging the service life of the winch. When no load is applied the drum free wheels as standard, this feature can be removed if required. Suitable for base mounting. Space saving profile is ideal for installation and operation in confined spaces.

Lifting capacity from 200 Kg to 800 Kg. The design of this hand winch features two-speed gearing on some models with very fast operation. Aluminium construction. Teflon coated sintered bearings to reduce effort with a roller chain drive. Automatic self-sustaining spring loaded brake acting in both directions. Two speeds are available depending upon capacity; for example on the 500Kg winch the fast speed winds in 335mm for each turn of the crank with loads below 90Kg, whilst the slow speed lifts full loads for ease of operator use. Base, wall or ceiling mounting. Removable handle, operates from both ends of the winch. The solution to many winching problems.

HAND WINCH TYPE LAMBDA

TO BGV C1 (VBG70) SAFETY STANDARD
Specially designed for moving loads over people, conforms to German safety standard BVG C1. This winch has a grooved drum and is driven by a single reduction pair of straight cut internal spur gears. The load is automatically held by a safety spring double brake system, each capable of holding the full load. For improved rope coiling, a spring loaded rope pressure drum is fitted. Winding on one layer only. The gearing is designed for double nominal load according to BGV C1 (VBG70).

BETA ELECTRIC WIRE ROPE WINCHES
Lifting capacity from 100 Kg to 7.5 t. The Beta Wire Rope Winch has over 500 standard application possibilities. This ensures that we can meet your needs exactly, providing a solution to your individual application. The standard building block Beta is a functional robustly designed unit with a wide range of load capacities, lifting heights and speeds. It can be used for lifting or moving all sorts of loads. The Beta gives precise, safe and repeatable movement.

Features:

The Beta Winch is designed and constructed with maintenance-free spur gearing with milled and ground gearwheels. The gears run in an oil bath, this ensures simple maintenance and a long service life. A feature of the Beta is its quiet running through helical gearing.
Operator and Load Safety:
Electrically released spring-operated disc brake for holding the load. Safe operation through low voltage contactor control (42V) with a separate control panel. Robust motor with flexible supply voltages from 380V - 420V, 3ph, 50 Hz or 440V - 460V, 3ph, 50 Hz. IP54 Motor protection, also available to IP65. Large wire rope capacity with grooved drum with 2 wire rope fastening attachments. Electronic overload protection for all winches above 1000kgs.

Machined steel pulleys with bearings, to suit a wide range of wire rope diameters and loads. 2. BRAKED SAFETY CRANKS

A range of safety cranks used on hand driven mechanisms which require a brake e.g. specially designed jacks or winches.

SIFEKU TYPE

Cast aluminium crank with folding handle. Spring operated load pressure brake is silent in operation and weather-resistant, no ratchet required. 250mm radius, for use on jacks up to 5 tonnes capacity.

Features

250mm Crank Length. Square drive: 17mm. Max. driving torque: 60Nm (braking torque). Also available - brake hub unit without crank, e.g. for shaft driven equipment.

SIKU TYPE

This crank is used with a double acting pawl assembly and is suitable for indoor applications. The crank is of cast steel with folding handle and incorporates two conical or nylon brass brake discs, dependant on duty, which act as a friction brake. Two versions are available both with 17mm square hole. With folding handle.
250mm Crank Length. Square drive: 17mm. Max. driving torque: 60Nm (braking torque). 300mm Crank Length. Square drive: 17mm. Max. driving torque: 120Nm (braking torque).

RAKU TYPE

Similar to the SIKU crank this unit has a selector unit which allows either the raise or lower positions to be selected. The crank can either be turned through 360 degrees (as the SIKU crank) or operated in short ratchet type movements which is especially suited for use in confined spaces. With folding handle.

DRIVES

HAND OPERATED GEARBOX
Easy and safe operation. Load is held securely due to self locking worm gear. Self locking. Can be used: As a rotary actuator. As a gearbox for cable winches. As a gearbox for chain drives.

TYPE S20

With cast iron housing mounted into a rolled section fixing bracket. With machined worm wheel and hardened worm shaft running on bronze bushes.

TYPE S24

With diecast aluminium housing suitable for use in hostile environments. Machined Phosphor Bronze worm wheel and hardened worm shaft fitted with teflon sintered bearings to reduce effort.
