Automatic Channel Setup The Combi tuner scans through television frequencies, automatically storing every active broadcasting channel into memory. Automatic channel preset can be repeated whenever desired, should new channels become available. Channels can be manually added as well. 2 PLL Tuners The 2 PLL Tuner concept gives you the freedom to watch one programme whilst recording another. Teletext / Videotext with Favourite Page Memory The built in Text-decoder gives you access to many different topics like: the latest news, the weather forecast or the TV-guide. Its a convenient source of up to date information. For fast access to your favourite information, one favourite page per channel can be stored. Unified Multifunction Infrared Remote Controls all operating features and functions of both TV and VCR sections of this Combi from the convenience of your armchair.This includes all special features, random channel access, and channel scan up/down. Show View / VideoPlus Programming Simplifies VCR programming by allowing you to simply enter ShowView / VideoPlus Code numbers found in many published television listings. One-Touch Record With the touch of a single button you can start a recording. Each touch of the RECORD button adds 30 minutes of additional recording time. Front Audio / Video Input Connector Connect your Combi to the direct video output of a camcorder or video game to enjoy video entertainment. SCART Connector The SCART connector also allows a SAT tuner or a Pay TV decoder to be connected to your Combi. Headphone Socket Plug in a personal headphone and enjoy your favourite movie, music video or video game without disturbing other family members in the room. The jack is compatible with all standard 3.5 mm phono plugs. Sleep Timer Automatically turns the Combi off at a preset time of up to 180-minutes from the time the feature is activated. Sleep timer settings are programmed in 15-minute increments. Full Auto Feature Package Incorporated into every PHILIPS Combi, this complete package includes: automatic control for Power On when a tape is inserted; Automatic Studio Tracking, assuring proper alignment of video and audio heads for perfect recordings and viewing every time; Auto Play, placing prerecorded tapes in the Play mode as soon as theyre inserted in the unit; Auto Rewind, to rewind the cassette as soon as the tape reaches the end; Auto Eject at the end of the tape after record, so tapes are not inadvertently left in the Combi.
