External loudspeaker connector Amplified audio connector for easy installation of external speakers (for bathrooms, for example), eliminating the need for investments in external equipment Front/Side controls locking Selecting the option in the setup menu to lock or unlock access to the front and side controls of the TV prevents unauthorised access to the TV menu, saving the hotelier the time and effort of re-installing. VESA mounting A unified industry standard for wall/ceiling mounting equipment set by the Video Electronics Standards Association. This offers a great flexibility in mounting possibilities and a wide choice of mounting brackets. SmartCard Xpress Box The optional SmartCard Xpress Box can be mounted at the back of the TV set and allows third party decoders and application cards to interface with the TV, adding new functionality to the TV. The TV can also be connected to external decoders and set-top boxes of all major interactive system providers through the Serial Xpress Control Interface (supporting UART and RS232 protocols) and the SmartPlug Control interface. Add. integrated power supply The additional integrated power supply avoids the need for a separate power supply for an interactive system. For stand-alone use, the additional power supply can be switched off to save energy. Volume limitation This feature predefines the volume range within which the TV set is allowed to operate, preventing excessive volume adjustments and disturbance of neighbouring guests. Welcome message A welcome greeting is displayed each time the TV set is switched on. Crystal Clear III Crystal Clear III combines a whole range of enhancements to provide a better picture.
