It produces brilliant flicker-free progressive scan pictures with optimum brightness and superb colors. This vibrant and sharp image will provide you with an enhanced viewing experience. Crystal Clear III Crystal Clear III combines a whole range of enhancements to provide a better picture. They include a 2D Comb filter, Dynamic contrast, Blue stretch and Green enhancement so that you always get the most natural looking colors. 2D Combfilter The 2D comb filter separates chrominance (color) from luminance (brightness) information in the video signal for independent processing to improve picture resolution and minimize distortion. Incredible Surround Incredible Surround is an audio technology from Philips that dramatically magnifies the sound field to immerse you in the audio. Using state-of-the-art electronic phase shifting, Incredible Surround mixes sounds from left and right in such a way that it expands the virtual distance between the two speakers. This wider spread greatly enhances the stereo effect and creates a more natural sound dimension. Incredible Surround allows you to experience total surround with greater depth and width of sound, without the use of additional speakers. Compact and slim design This design style emphasizes a slim, compact look that saves space and fits in anywhere. DVI-I Input A DVI-I input connects the non-compressed high-bandwidth digital RGB signal from source to screen. By eliminating the conversion of the digital signals to analog, it delivers an unblemished and noisefree image, that is clear and flickerfree. The DVI input supports HDCP copy protection that allows viewing of copy protected programs from Digital Settop boxes, DVD players and HD recorders. DVI-I is future proof as it can be be connected to all HDMI devices (a converter cable is required). The DVI-I input also supports analog PC-VGA signals. PC input With PC input you can connect your TV to a computer and use the TV as a PC monitor. Auto Picture Auto Picture button on the remote control enables one-touch selection of various preset optimized image settings to suit different TV program. Auto Sound Auto Sound provides pre-defined sound settings for ultra bass, bass, treble and balance for the optimum entertainment experience.

Please refer to the following update reference information in connection to the use and operation of your TVs POWER button (as located on the side of the TV cabinet).
This TV can be in three modes of operation: OFF - No LED lit on front of TV. Remote transmitter will not operate the TV. STANDBY - Red LED lit on front of TV. Remote transmitter will operate the TV. ON - Green LED lit on front of TV. Remote transmitter will operate the TV. When POWER is pressed on the side of the TV to turn the TV OFF, the TV remembers the state it is in (either STANDBY or ON), then the TV powers OFF. When POWER is pressed on the side of the TV again to turn the TV ON, the TV returns to either STANDBY or ON. There must be either a red LED or a green LED displayed on the front of the TV before the remote transmitter will operate the TV.
As additional information to the Power button tips and notes included on page 31 of the User Manual. Remote does not work: - Television will not power on using the remote control. The remote transmitter will not operate the TV when the TV is in the OFF mode (No LED lit on front control panel). To change the mode from OFF to STANDBY or ON, Press POWER on the side of the TV. Once the POWER is pressed on the TV, the LED will change to either red to indicate STANDBY or green to indicate ON, whichever mode the TV was in prior to being turned off with the TV power button. No Power: - Television will not power on after pressing the power button on the side of the unit. By pressing POWER on the side of the TV, the mode will toggle from OFF to either STANDBY or ON. If POWER is pressed and the LED on the front control panel is red, the TV is in STANDBY mode and will need to be turned on using the remote transmitter. If POWER is pressed and the LED on the front control panel is green, the TV is ON.
