LCD touch screen control Radio controlled clock for auto time adjustment The radio controlled clock receives time signals from a long wave radio station in Germany. This allows the clock to calibrate its time with the atomic time scale clock at the transmitter, and to set and display the correct time accordingly. Digital tuner By allocating favourite stations a preset number, its quick and convenient to return to them without having to remember frequencies. Digital tuner preset combinations include 15 FM or MW presets. Super big LCD for easy reading 2-Colour display for current time and alarm time To distinguish between the current time and the alarm time setting, the alarm time has an amber background and the actual times background is green. The time backlight is constantly on, the alarm time backlight only shows when the alarm is activated. Dual alarm Two alarms that can be set independently, with the choice of waking up to your favourite music from the radio station or from the buzzer. Alarm time display A continuous display shows both the current time and the time that the alarm is set to go off, giving constant reassurance to the alarm user.
Gentle wake (increasing alarm volume) Gentle Wake lets you customise your alarm volume to the level you need to wake up. When the wake-up time arrives, the alarm will switch on and the volume will gradually increase between the levels youve selected, until the sound wakes you up. Repeat alarm Sleep timer Sleep timer can be programmed to allow music to play for any period up to 60 minutes. Once the selected time period has expired, the machine switches to stand-by mode. Wake up to radio or buzzer Gives you the choice of waking up to your favourite radio station or alarm buzzer. 24 hour alarm reset Automatically resets the alarm for the same time on the next day, so you don't have to keep manually resetting the alarm. Brightness control Enables you to control the brightness of the display for personal preference. Headphone connection Self-powered back-up The clock has a self-powered back-up of three minutes, so in case of power failure, the clock will hold the time and the alarm settings.

SETTING TIMES

RADIO CONTROLLED TIME RECEPTION (FOR AJ3475 MODELS ONLY) Your clock is equipped with a special long wave radio receiver which controls and allows the time to be set automatically and accurately. After you exit the demo mode, if the radio controlled clock signal is strong will appear within 10 seconds and the time will be automatically set within 3 minutes. The signal may disappear / blink during normal operation as a result of electrostatic interference (see Troubleshooting.) If does not appear or blinks for more than 3 seconds, this means that the radio controlled clock transmission is too weak to be received, and you will need to set the clock manually to run on normal quartz time. When the radio time transmission for your time zone is duly received, this information will replace any manually set time. To improve radio controlled clock reception: 1. Place the set at a window away from metal objects such as aluminum sunblinds and panelling. 2. Make sure that the antenna is placed securely and horizontally on a flat surface. Adjust the position of the antenna gradually: wait for to blink each time you rotate the antenna. It may take 2-3 minutes to adjust the antenna for automatic setting of the clock.
