To counter oversleeping, the Philips Clock radio has a snooze feature. Should the alarm ring and you wish to continue sleeping a bit longer, simply press the Repeat Alarm button once and go back to sleep. Nine minutes later the alarm will ring again. You can continue to press the Repeat Alarm button every nine minutes until you turn off the alarm altogether. Digital tuning with presets

Start your day right by waking up gently to a gradually escalating alarm volume. Normal alarm sounds with a preset volume are either too low to wake you up or are so uncomfortably loud that you are rudely jolted awake. Choose to wake up to your favorite music, radio station or buzzer alarm. Gentle wake's alarm volume gradually increases from subtly low to reasonably high in order to gently rouse you. Dual alarm
Simply tune into the station that you want to preset, press and hold the preset button to memorize the frequency. With preset radio stations that can be stored, you can quickly access your favorite radio station without having to manually tune the frequencies each time. Temperature display
Sleep timer lets you decide how long you want to listen to music or a radio station of your choice before falling asleep. Simply set a time limit (up to 1 hour) and choose a CD or radio station to listen to while you drift off to sleep. The set will continue to play for the selected duration and then automatically switch off to a power-efficient, silent stand-by mode. Sleep Timer lets you fall asleep to your favorite CD or radio DJ without counting sheep or worrying about wasting power.
The Philips audio system comes with two alarm times. Set one alarm time to wake you up and the other time to wake up your partner.

DC 7.5V

ENGLISH Step A Connecting Power Supply
Connect the supplied mains adapter to the set's DC IN jack and the plug into a wall outlet.
Setting Clock and Alarm Important!
Pull out the plastic protective sheet to activate the clock backup battery (CR2032). This battery is included and installed in the set.

Step B

Setting time manually 1. Press and hold DATE/SET TIME to enter
the clock setting mode. 2. Hold down or press TUNING +/repeatedly to set the current year. 3. Press DATE/SET TIME to conrm. 4. Operate like step 2 and 3 to set month, date, date format, hour, minute, and hour offset value. Two different alarm times can be set. This can be useful when you and your partner need to be woken up at different time. Besides, you can set different alarm sounds respectively among tuner sound of nature. 1. Press and hold ALARM 1 until hour digits start ashing. 2. Hold down or press TUNING +/repeatedly to set the desired hour. 3. Press ALARM 1 to conrm. Minute digits start ashing. 4. Hold down or press TUNING +/repeatedly to set the desired minute. 5. Press ALARM 1 to conrm. starts ashing. 6. Press TUNING +/- repeatedly to select the desired alarm sound. 7. Press ALARM 1 to conrm. 8. Repeat the steps above but press ALARM 2 instead of ALARM 1 to set the other alarm.
Using the outdoor temperature sensor
The outdoor sensor is supplied to work with the main unit to measure and display the outdoor temperature. 1. Place the sensor in a desired open area. The place must be within 50 meters away from the main unit. (Make sure that the sensor is loaded with 2 AA batteries.) For the rst time using the outdoor sensor and the main unit, press RESET located on the sensor back, and RESET located in the bottom of the main unit. Then, the main unit will begin to receive transmission from the sensor. To update the outdoor temperature from the sensor any time, press and hold AUTO SCAN for 5 seconds.
Indoor temperature Press DISPLAY to toggle the display
between indoor temperature and outdoor temperature. Press and hold DISPLAY to display indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, and day of week cyclically.

Sleep timer

This set has a built-in sleep timer, which enables the radio to be automatically switched off or relaxation music volume to be turned down gradually after a set period of time. 1. Press SLEEP. 2. Press SLEEP repeatedly to switch between:15->30->60->90->120->OFF. 3. Press PRESET +/- repeatedly to select
next or previous in-built relaxation music.
4. To cancel sleep, switches the timer to OFF.
1. Press RADIO once to switch on the radio. 2. Press AUTO SCAN to program all available stations. 3. Press PRESET +/- until the desired preset station is displayed.

Using Projection

With this projection feature, you can conveniently project the clock time onto a surface e.g. walls ceiling (furniture and glass are not recommended). 1. Press PROJECTION/ IMAGE FLIP to switch on projection. The Projection lens and LED indicator light up. 2. Turn the FOCUS wheel to make the projection image clearest. 3. Press and hold PROJECTION/IMAGE FLIP to ip the projected image vertically, along the horizontal axis. 4. Push the projection cone to pop it out. 5. To change the projection slightly to a different angle, turn the IMAGE ROTATE wheel (maximum 90 degree left or right). 6. Press PROJECTION/IMAGE FLIP to switch between: bright, dim, very dim and off.
