Plays DVD & Videotapes. Progressive scan a plus. Front and rear AV jacks great. Hmm? let me count the ways. 1)chicklet-style buttons. I watched a Clint Eastwood movie on the Phillips DVP620VR that describes my DVD/VCR unit perfectly: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. Decent price, front AV, digital output Poor remote, awkward method of recording form DVD to VHS.
